Located on a recently explored(rexently being about a decade) edge of the Halo stars lies Albyon, an empire consisting of 8 habitable planets and numerous mining colonies. It has existed in peace with the Imperium as a valuable trade partner, but now the high lords have grown tired with just tasting Albyon's mineral wealth and have now ordered a full scale invasion. Hundreds of Imperial Guard regiments have been mobilised, the militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy; The Sisters of Bartle have been given the holy duty of spreading the Emperors light, even the noble Space Marines of the Salamanders chapter have pledged their support.
Albyon sits unprotected and open, her armies are at their weakest, and her lands are ripe for the taking, all the Imperium need do now is invade. Some planetary governors hold little loyalty to the King, you may be able to have them switch allegiance to that of the Emperor. Others won't be so traitorous and will require replacement, for this the forces of the Officious Assassinorum are at your desposal. The Imperial Inquisition has even granted the use of the Externinatus should you deem it necessary.
Go now men and women of the Imperium, show no mercy in driving these dogs into the Emperors holy light.

It won't be that simple Raeven, you may have to contend with the sisters should your objectives necessitate it. Each faction will have differing objectives, the sisters being part of the Ecclesiarchy means that their goal is to convert the populace and maybe turn a planet into a shrine world.
Assassins are just gonna do assassiny things.
And I don't know what your space marines could do, relic hunting? Possibly one of the things Vulkan hid?
Captain Raeven
Subject: Re: The fall of Albyon (Dead....I guess) 2015-02-06, 20:15
that would make it more interesting.... say, how about if we do bad things, atrocities/ war crimes. the chance of chaos corruption in the populace

Im not sure which assassins to have...I can see there only really being a small team on them across the whole planet, but which type do I got for
Sir BushWookie
Subject: Re: The fall of Albyon (Dead....I guess) 2015-02-06, 20:26
They're almost all atheists, chaos corruption is unlikely. Plus you're playing Salamanders, surely tainting the populace isn't your thing. As it goes, every action against civilians will have consequences, lots of consequences.
Euan, this will be set over 8 planets, hence why I wanted you to play an army.
When do you guys wanna start??

If she won't tell you then she has no real reason to be upset. You can't just punish someone without them knowing what they did wrong, otherwise how can anything get resolved.

The forces of the holy Emperor have arrived at a predetermined rendezvous point. This will be the only time you must fight as allies.
Before you is Eurakris Prima, a small planet with a small population of mostly colonists. It is the closest planet to Imperial borders and is also rich in mineral wealth. The planetary governer is said to be pro-Imperium as the Imperium has been a profitable trade partner.
Initial scans show only an Escort and 2 Trade vessels orbit, a single regiment of militia and tank battalion planet side. There is one main settlement which acts as; the capital city, trade center and space port. Capturing this city will give you control over the planet.
Your orders were simple, bring the Albyon system into the Emperor's light, th high lords do not care how you do this, only that it is done.
