Ooc. Oh, wait, wasnt he the doc in the original team?
Does he have the girl or something?

*she pops up where jorkun is*

*Jorkun just stares at her for a moment, surprised.*

Jorkun: Erm...Hello. Have you found anything?

"nothing solid....but I think i'm on to something"

Jorkun: What is it?

"You heard of Plumo I assume?"

Jorkun: Can't say I've heard of anyone with that name.

"He's some yutegan big shot. anyway found out about some yutegan child prodigy named nicole kotrev. 19 years old. recently hired by him. even more recently disappeared without a trace"

Jorkun: That's certainly suspicious, but what does that have to do with my daughter's disappearance?

"two young girls go issing within that close of a timeframe? I dont think its a coincidence"

Jorkun: Again, it's suspicious, but can you find any connection between this young girl's disappearance and that of my daughter's?

"I'm working on it. you told me to keep you posted so thats exactly what I'm doing"

Jorkun: Yes, thank you. I was just hoping for....something more concrete is all. I'm sure you understand.

"I do. as i said its the start of a lead. i'm gonna start looking into this plumo guy now"

Jorkun: You do that. And be careful.

"dont worry *winks* i got backups*

*Jorkun simply nods.*

she goes
starts trying to find a way to get to plumo's more...sensitive stuff

*That won't be easy......man's an Yutegan. He knows how to protect virtual information.*

and she knows how to find it

*Fairs. Still won't be easy. He's not dumb enough to leave it all in one place, or a place even she can easily access.*

*after a while of searching and hacking she finds a way in*

*There's a lot of....incomplete or otherwise junk data there....and she can't find its source. Hell, she can't even tell if the source exists anymore.*

she starts to sort through it
incredibly fast

*Yeah a lot of pointless data...but something catches her eye...a copy of one of Omun's papers.*

she quickly reads it

*It's been heavily edited, with a lot of revisions, angry notes on "intentional sabotage" and other such things...someone fixed Omun's "mistakes".*

she quickly makes a copy of it and pops up to Omun
"hey....."

Omun: Oh. Tex, hello. What brings you here?

"Plumo does"

Omun: Plumo.....*thinks* Oh, I remember him. A rather outspoken man when he was a student. Always so keen to think I was backward and to cautious for a scientist.

"look can i share something....confidential with you?"

Omun: Of course.

"Well.....comander jorkun of the templum....his daughter's missing. i've been investigating, and that investigation ended up leading me to Plumo's files n stuff..."

Omun: I see....And let me guess, the Commander suspects me. *Sighs* Regardless, what have you found?

"he did but I assured him you wouldnt do that. and well so far i've found two things....so i found out about this child prodigy called Nicole Kotrev. Heard of her?"

Omun: You're right. I would never stoop so low as to harm another man's daughter. *Thinks...* Nicole Kotrev...Oh, yes. A supposed prodigy, with a talent for cybernetics. Rather intelligent young woman so I heard.

"Currently 19 years of age. yeah Plumo hired her on to work for him....and recently she just...vanished completely"

Omun: By "vanished" I assume you mean as though she were abducted, rather than vanishing into her work as is common amongst Yutegan students. If that is the case....have you found a connection between her disappearance and that of the commander's daughter?

"none yet. i was working on finding one when i came across this in Plumo's files" *she shows him the copy of omun's thing that plumo 'edited'* "Which is why i'm here, I thought you should see it. if he's involved in the disappearances, combined with this....it doesnt look good"

*Omun looks at the paper.*

Omun: He....he "fixed" the paper on mind transfer......But...How? Hardly anyone understands the concept as well as I do...Plumo couldn't have done this himself....unless....

"Unless?"

Omun: That girl....you don't suppose she..."fixed" the mistakes? If that's the case...then Plumo...but why? There's no reason for such a line of research...the damage to test subjects could be catastrophic and irreversible....

"What if he doesnt care about that? what if....well....the missing people....were the test subjects?"

Omun: If that were the case....He'd be committing a truly unforgivable crime...But....why? What would his motivation be....I did even less research in the field of mind transference than I did biomechanical enhancement....*He becomes extremely pensive.*

"maybe....he's just a psycho/sociopath. maybe he's trying to make new types of soldiers or something"

Omun: Soldiers...yes...but...what would motivate him to create such soldiers...At our current technology levels, cybernetic soldiers would be much more useful...Unless....No....He can't possibly....Tex...have you ever heard of the Transcended?
