OOC: ....so... as part of a course i have this semester, we have to form groups and plan out a project of our choice... our team chose the protection of a high value VIP.... now... i get the impression that i might have misunderstood how "high" value said VIP is...While one of my teammates did the plan for the zoo visit, i did it for the hotel theyll be staying at overnight and stuff...
Yeah, well... he basically planned for ~25 active armed guards, support staff, some camera drones and whatnot for the zoo... yeah, pretty cool, right...?
Meanwhile, at the hotel... barricades that would stop a tank... ~100 armed guards... Safety measures fitting for A-51... AT and AA missiles on standby in a locker in case of serious attack... snipers with nightvision and thermal cameras on the roofs...

Basically, he planned to protect some CEO of high standing from random stuff... I planned to protect the US president from everything from Agent 47, through a Soviet invasion, to an ISIS tactical nuke strike from the subway that runs under the hotel...

....I get the impression that i may have overdone it a wee bit...

OOC. ...let me put it this way: i will be putting a major public transport hub under strict supervision, completely "evacuating" several blocks of buildings, complete vehicle lockdown with 1.5x1.5 blocks of concrete(~200 of them) to stop even a charging tank or fully loaded truck(!), the british embassy and the district town hall will be under strict supervision, there will be armed guards everywhere, we will have ABV filtering and protection at the ready(ABV stands for atomic-biological-chemical), we will have frikkin armored escape boats ready on the Danube if all else fails(!), we have frikking rockets at the ready(!), hell, even the guards arent allowed to enter any zone other than their own, they have to eat separate menus to avoid poisoning, they even have to know everyone in at least their own group by at least name and face!
this plan is 47, Stalin and idiots proof!

*He stops browsing and fixes Hiruzen with a steely gaze.*

Joachim: This book says that the Kaiser that ruled Brigard when you traveled the land was named Albrecht of house Nurem. That is the name our current Kaiser bares. *He turns a through multiple pages.* Yet this book also says the Kaiser is the one who lead my people into battle when we last defeated Dracia, and again, the name is the same. Both passages describe the Kaiser as appearing as a kindly and wizened old man, but also describe him as though he was a shadow of...something. At least, that's how's described until the battle with Dracia.

Joachim: Or it could be a tradition of some sort....But, this next passage concerns. It states "It was then that the Kaiser and his mount strode from the forest, armored in the blackest of steel and towering over even the greatest of the Mad Hunters. Here was a being that struck fear even in the hearts of those who were fearless. He stood with his men, motionless and silent until the time to strike came. Personally leading the charge, he carved a bloody swath through the Dracians." It goes onto describe the slaughter he personally inflicted but....How can that be? I've seen the Mad Hunters with my own eyes. How could any simple man.....*Stops momentarily and gulps* If what you think is true, how could this be the same man? How?! It's not possible. No man lives that long.

The clan family of the voldamian shogunate have been known to live twice as long as ordinary people, and there are some mortem clavae who claim to have lived since the third shattered war. Joachim: IF that's the case, then how has he retained access to magic, assuming he has any, and how has this not been found out sooner..Actually, strike that last part. Most Brigardi are so ignorant of their own history that it would be easy to make it seem like each Kaiser is a different man under the same name and title.
