Tyren: "True, smaller, less armoured."

Mac: "We making educated guesses on what a 'star forge' is?"

Lyanna: worse manouverability

Charles: until we have more information, unfortunately yes. We do know that it is likely Necron technology.

Tyren: "Inability to change the height of its weapons, or crouch"

Mac: "Fuck."

Lyanna: lack of shielding. 

Charles: agreed. Anything else?

Tyren: "Basically they're shit."

Hera: "I think we covered the oh shit-ness of the situation."

Lyanna: not shit just...compared to this....

Charles: right. We depart in just over an hour. Be ready.

Tyren: "Most things vulkan created leave more mundane technologies looking... somewhat primitive."

Hera: *Nods.*

Lyanna: i'm just on about all contemptors.

*They all start wandering away, and jack throws a comment over his shoulder*

Jack: "Death sounds boring anyway."

Charles gives a subtle signal for hera to come over

*hera wanders over* "What is it?"

Tyren: "I wonder..."

Charles: you alright?

Lyanna: go on?

Tyren: "The mounting points on its back, usually for a cyclone launcher. What else could be fitted there."

Hera: "Good enough."

Lyanna: havoc launcher back in the day. Blood angs I know use it for magna grapples.

Charles: I've been meaning to ask...what happened to mute?

Hera: "What? you mean his tongue?"

Charles: yeah.

Tyren: "Considering that we're already engaging in tech heresy, why not go wild."

Tyren: "I enjoy having arms. i was more thinking of just mounting an extra weapon."

Hera: "They didn't take us, they decided to have their fun then and there."

Tyren: "I could do with some longer range anti armour capabilities. Hunter killer missiles perhaps."

Hera: "Its fine charles, really, you don't have to think about it, it happened in the past."

Hera: "Mute and lucy had the worst of it."

Charles: Tell me.

Tyren: "It increases the profile too much though..."

Lyanna: way more useful though.

Tyren: "Perhaps..." *Shrugs* "My armament will do for now."

she realises charles' fists are clenched. A nearby (thankfully obselite) terminal blows out. pure coincidence I assure you.
"What happened to lucy?"

Lyanna: if you say so

Hera: "She was on the left flank.... One of the eldar took a knife to her, and... well, Decided she was pretty."

Tyren: "There's not many situations i find myself in where my weapons are insufficient."

*the terminal actually explodes this time*

Lyanna: fair enough

Hera: "Charles." *she rests a hand on his chest* "It was years ago. We've had revenge a hundred times over."

Tyren: "Although... more flamers is always good."

Charles: what were their colours? their symbol?

Lyanna: Admittedly true.

Hera: "Charles, stop this, now. Its the past, and we have more important things than you going on a vendetta against the bloody dark eldar."

Tyren: "See, its not just salamanders."

Tyren: "Promethium is so useful."

Hera: *Hugs him* "Its fine, If someone hurt you i'd be pretty pissed too."

Tyren: "Scars."

Tyren: "My skin is a clean canvas, Should i have my old brands redone, do you think, or start afresh?"

Hera: "I love you too... well, at least now you wont have to ask when you see my back."
