i once picked up a german Kar98, factory standard, and shot agerman in the head with it. i know it was the head because nothing else was visible. he didnt die.
He shot back at me from the exact same distance, the exact same factory standard Kar98, and instakilled me...

Damien. Unlike common belief, i am not worthless... And i spend my time in high places for multiple reasons. One of them being recon... For the past few days, trees have been felled around us. Probably by those larger beasts we saw. And sometimes i can hear the sound of large groups moving when the wind blows right. The... "search effort", if it can be called such, is barely coordinated. They are still far out, proceeding with random trial and error exploration, but they will find us, eventually.
