*skip to laurence and the shuttle arriving?*

*Laurence arrives. aboard a shuttle*

Tyren: *rests his head in one of his hands*

Charles has a pair of scions escort him to the bridge
Charles: Laurence *tips his hat in greeting, he's still grinning*

Lyanna: it's alright tyren.

Tyren: "How is it alright?"

Laurence: "And here i was about to ram my cruiser into a gloriana class battleship."

Lyanna puts a hand on his shoulder

Charles: I told you I had this

Laurence: "That you did, you could have called in your buddies a little sooner."

Tyren: "How i... care about you? You sent thousands of good men to their deaths in a minefield"

Charles: True, but I was a little busy helping you get that artifact. An artifact they are also here to help us examine.

Lyanna:....No I didn't

Laurence: "And they are?"

Tyren: "Who did?"

*Laurence hears a very loud series of clanks as someone very large enters the room*

Lyanna: Djurah

Tyren: "Where is he." *He stands up, his tone of voice is flat, dispassionate.*

Laurence: "I would assume..." *Turns around*

Lyanna: planetside.

He sees a very, very large archmagos walk into the room. you know what he looks like, and how bloody huge he is.

Tyren: "I'll kill him."

Laurence: "Archmagos."

Lyanna: Tyren....you've fought him before. And you lost.

Archmagos: You must be the psyker that Charles mentioned. Greetings. *no reaction from hera and the gang to the huge machine man?)

Tyren: "I was a scout then. The gap has closed over the centuries."

*gang isnt here, just hera*

Hera: "Bloody..."

Laurence: "I am indeed."

Lyanna: you're not the only one who's gotten stronger remember*

Charles: *steps forward* Archmagos Justinian, It's been too long.

Justinian: Quite...

Tyren: "Damned with how strong he is. Actions like that cannot simply be allowed."


Laurence: *Silence*

Lyanna: tyren....I know how you feel but...there's nothing you can do.

Justinian: now....this artifact, what can you tell me about it, psyker?

Laurence: "Either necron, or older, no visible glyps, runes, or imperfections, just grooves along its sides, its not tainted. Besides that, i rather think we were hoping you could tell us more."

Tyren: *Breathing deeply, boiling with rage*

Lyanna stands up

Justinian:...show me.

*guessing mute still has it, Charles calls the penal gang in*

*Mute gently places it in front of Justinian.*

Tyren: "How can you fight with such... Murderers?"

Justinian takes it and starts pawing over it, examining it with both his eyes and servo skull

Lyanna:....because of the murderers you fight with.

Tyren: "I would stand alongside abaddon himself if there was a city full of innocents behind me. But on the attack? No."

Justinian:...you are correct as to its origin...Necron technology. I've seen its like before.

Tyren: "Did lord vulkan do that? no. I follow his word, not anyone elses."

Laurence: "Any idea as to its function?"

Max: "Yep! So go on, you've got however long it takes for me to clean"

Rob: "Well....what now?"

Lyanna: and who's word did vulkan follow?

Justinian: A hunch....

Emma: I..don't know

R: neither do I

Akira: *Laughs, and walks off to their bedroom*

Laurence: "Anything is better than what we've got."

Tyren: "His own judgment, the emperor gave his sons little more than a direction... Although he stayed with the emperor for quite some time before he joined the legion."

Emma: I guess we wait till we're out?

Justinian: some kind of...memory unit

Tyren: "One of his sons disobeyed him flagrantly. He was beyond harsh."

Laurence: "Anyone know a necron who'd like to help?"

Lyanna: and thousands of innocents perished. Not one of those who had done wrong died. Only those they cared about.

Jusinian: No need...I believe I can open it.

Tyren: "He wasn't a good man, i don't claim him to be. I don't shed a tear at his passing, but he's better than the gods."

Laurence: "Is it safe to do so?"

Lyanna: Gods? I serve no gods.

Justinian: This is the necron equivalent to a hard drive, psyker. What do you think?

Tyren: "This whole war is them versus the emperor. We're just the pawns."

Laurence: "The necron equivalent of a toaster probably disintegrates worlds."

Lyanna: no it isn't. I don't serve any gods, and you know it Tyren. Or do you still serve the emperor's damn commands?

Justinian just sighs at laurence' ignorance as he starts going over it

M: *He finishes cleaning, and after a few minutes slowly opens their bedroom door*

R: *Timeskip?*

Tyren: "You serve them implicitly, they turned your legion against the emperor, Perturabo is a daemon primarch."

Laurence: *Shrugs*

*Max is greeted by a suspiciously empty room*

Lyanna: they didn't turn us on the emperor. The emperor did that.

Justinian after a fair bit of examination, manages to do...something. The grooves all begin to glow green.

M: *He looks around, wondering where Akira is*

Tyren: "If i've learned anything in my life, its that theres no such thing as, chaos wasnt involved."

Laurence: *adamantium flows over his skin.* "You have any idea whats on this thing?"

*A hand is planted into the small of his back, throwing him face first onto the bed, then he hears a series of metallic clicks, and feels something around his wrists, and a weight pinning him down*

Tyren can see she's not exactly happy with where this conversation is going

Justinian: no

Tyren: *Simply sighs, and drinks, then mumbles* "Sorry."

Laurence: "Why the hell did the warriors want it so badly..."

Max: "The fuck?"

Akira: "I promised you a surprise."

Lyanna:...tyren don't do this to me

the artifact opens up, the four sides of the spike opening up like a four pointed star, as the center projects, in green light, a hologram of a set of numbers
they seem to be galactic coordinates....but 2/3 of them are static'd out

Max: "yeah....are you in armour...bloody hell"

Akira: "The armour's not staying on for long, i just needed the extra strength for a bit." *Giggles*

Laurence: "we can cross reference it against known tomb worlds."

Tyren: "I'm sorry, you know how it is... The things some... traitors have done. Its hard to separate you from them sometimes."

Charles: dont think so.... not enough there. We've only got a fragment.

Lyanna:... i could say the same for you and some loyalists. Have I?

Max: *Tries to look round or Atleast work out what's on his wrists* "You've got me pinned now what?"
