So the rhino that you and Gor ate will have had infected meat

Ooc: I was thinking more like a brain spider or something.

OOC: alright, so an asexual parasitic organism that takes control of the host through implanting itself into the brain.
The host a then used as a mobile food source providing much needed chemicals to the parasite at the cost of their independence.
Said organism would use it's host to hatch and feed the young, they would be stored in the chest cavity as they will be warm and safe.
The parasite cannot last without a host for more than.....an hour? Before perishing thus hosts will have bulging chests from the large amount of eggs.
Once hatched the young will feed on the hosts innards until they are strong enough to rupture the hosts chest, alien style.
This process kills both the host and the parent.
The organism has a life span matching that of the host and is smart enough to not pay eggs if there is a shortage of potential hosts.

Ooc: injects the victum with parasites, short term effects include nausea, vomiting and blindness, long term include mutations of the body that have different effects on the victim.

Combined arms warfare, armoured spearhead followed by an infantry push maybe a preliminary naval barrage or a bombing campaign perhaps...
