The officer laughs also.

He ponders it for a moment.
"I have a wonderful idea" he says with a hysterical laugh

The Reichsguard begin to dig trenches and form a makeshift base way up the road. After about 20mins of non stop work, the men finally stand to attention in what is essentially a wooden fortress.

"Good job soldiers, but I feel this wilderness is evil, as well as many inhabitants. So stay alert."

"Yessir!" They all chant in succession, before manning stations.

quite a few of the soldiers of the reiksguard and alot more of the horse muns soilders are complaning about massive lumps on their skin which have spread across their whole body after being bitten by a mosquito

"If there are lumps on your skin, why have you not put on your flak jackets!"

The soldiers hang their heads in shame.

"Oafs! Do you want to go back to horse lover?"

They all shake their heads, and place on their protective jackets.

"Also, employ the ancient defences... I believe they are called Mosquito nets..."

The med teks begin work trying to figure out a antidote, mostly by slicing off the bulges and splashing different antibiotics on it.

OOC jus saying for a virus to mutate and become immune to a cure it would need to be able to first take the cure, die, and slowly replicate.
