The Blue skin sips on his tea.

He hears a mumbling, something about his language.

"Excuse me?"

His armed escort turned butler turned to him and questioned him, as to how he knew how to speak human.

"...I have human auxiliaries...why wouldn't I?"

Leaving the man stunned at the non-nonchalantness of the alien he continued to sip his tea.

OOC: *Squees upon seeing you're on.*

OOC: I'm good, but I'm waiting for these ambassadors.

OOC: Well, where are they even?

*The Tragadon guard sergeant nods at him and as the airlock to the ship opened.*

OOC: Pick an outer world, literally any.

Ar'Kais has been waiting for a week for someone to address him.

And by that he doesn't mean the ruler of this planet, someone larger.

OOC: Well, they're not just going to immediately patch him through to the head of one of the big four but.....

IC: *A fleet drops out of FTL near his ship.*

++Templum Captain: This is Templum fast response fleet 265 to alien vessel. State your reason for trespassing or leave.++

McIlwraith: "Wow, these lads are slow, patching it through to the Shas'O"

"Hello Gue'La, I am Shas'O Ar'Kais, I have been hosted by your local politicians and they were just, lovely."

Nartan: I assume you are Torrel.

"My name is Shas'O Ar'Kais Korst'La'Shi of the Tau Empire...or Commander Adept, Slayer of Undead..."

"In my life time I have been fighting the Imperium for 20 years, not including cyro-time...and I have some plans."

The Shas'O smirks and finishes his tea.

"Lets talk, preferably over lunch."

++Templum Captain: I have been ordered to have you follow my fleet to Khazak. Commander Jorkun wishes to speak with your personally.++

"yep, thats me"

Nartan: Follow me. *He heads to towards engineering.*

"Very well, I'll make preparations."

Ar'Kais stands up and picks up his effects before making his way back to his ship.

++Templum Captain: It doesn't matter, but if will help with.....your business deal, I have been ordered to accommodate you in any way possible..++

*He is brought to engineering.*

Nartan: My engineering staff will explain things to you. I apologize for not being more accommodating, but I need to make arrangements for local foods to tested to see if they are safe for my crew to consume if we are to be stranded here for the foreseeable future.

*He leaves, a technician approaches Torrel.*

???: I'm sorry for the captain's bluntness....he's under a lot of pressure.

"I will need tea."

After the exchange, the fleet goes on it's way.

"I have a number of plans, prototypes, You see the Tau Empire...by the way, avoid them, they are on the opposite side of Ultramar."

"They mostly use mechs...I'd love to show you, wonderful technology."

Templum Captain: We have mechs of our own, Shas'O. That is your rank, correct?

"nono, i understand"

"Yes, Just Ar'Kais please, I left the Tau Empire, it's merely a formality now."

???: I am glad you do. The entire crew has been....nervous. We're not quite sure we'll ever make it home.

???: Thank you.....I am Delmos, and currently the head technician of the ship.

"Well a Shas'O is the equivalent of...how you say...a General or Commander...what sort of mechs do you use?"

Templum Captain: It depends on the combat situation. If it's an urban environment, we use colossi class mechs.

"...How large?"

*He pulls up a holo-projected image of a Colossus. It's about the size of a Broadside.*

*Delmos takes him to a workbench. It has a jump coil on it and is noticeably warped.*

Delmos: We use these coils so that the ships can interact with the energies of the portals we use to travel faster than light. Unfortunately, without a gate the coils are useless, and in a state like this....using them could be dangerous.
