she looks at him in a bit of an...odd way. then she freezes before pulling away

she clasps her face in her hands and makes a sound between a scream and a moan

*He cautiously sits down next to her.*

Natran: Thank you. *Is silent for a moment.* Lord Berric, should rescue come for my crew and I, I think it is important that I know at least something of your Brotherhood. If I am able to corroborate your statements to the High Chancellor, it would hopefully make negotiations easier. As I have said before, as you and your people are warriors, the Outer Colonies may be...hesitant to trust you.

she turns and hugs him

"the only way we could. we took the eye, and used it to create a weapon"

*He hesitantly returns it.*

she holds him close for a while

"we created a blade with the eye. a sword with which to cut through the demonic hordes and unspeakable horrors that stood before us, and kill the corruptor himself"

"tell me. if an enemy like the corruptor could appear from seemingly nowhere, and we do not know if he will be the last, would you destroy the weapon you used to defeat him?"

*He puts an arm around her shoulder.*
