they said it was a labyrinth, of unknown length, with many automated guardians and creatures within it.

Dredd: There are multiple courses of action available. However, only an insignificant portion of them includes us fighting their battle. Over aeons, it has repeatedly been proven that doing so always eventually results in the weakening of the protecting force, and the stagnatin of the protected.

Dredd: 1.: Making them capable of saving themselves 2.: Leaving them to their fate. the former has any number of possible methods. if they are incapable of exloiting the support we give, they will be left to their fate.
