Now, weapons you may have include anything up to an assault cannon or even a grav gun. Just know that assault cannons would require a rig etc.
Close combat weapons.. anything up to a chainsword.
Armor... carapace at best.
All big things impede movement.
Have fun.  Will start this in a few days. Leave a name, equip and short  backstory(optional but preferred.)

Story -
Aegis V, a planet that lives in peace, covered by large deserts and colossal cities.
Or used to.
The "event" happened just a few years ago now. All contact was lost to the planet, and all ships failed to reach the destination. The planet was declared dead.
Recently, however, Inquisitor Kronite has decided that the declaration wasn't enough. Amassing a small group of "elite" soldiers, he decided it was time the issue was investigated.
After the inquisition gave the go ahead, the soldiers where armed, and sent into the atmosphere.
What lies on the planet is unknown. What happened?
Time to find out, suckas.

Bio:
Born to unknown parents, presumably from a highland regiment.
He was found by a kasrkin unit during the siege of kasr Vulcain clutching a las-pistol surrounded by dead heretics.
After being checked for taint, he was taken in by the kasrkin regiment and raised as a son to all of the men. Although he was mocked by the local white shields he became a very tame young man, he wouldn't rush into things like the other white shields. He'd stay back and actually survey the situation, needless to say he survived his first operation, claiming 25 confirmed kills with no injury whatsoever.
He displayed natural skill when stealth and accuracy were required and was quickly recruited into a special ops unit within the ranks of the kasrkin.
From here his natural skills on served to enhance his career within the imperial guard as a reconnaissance sniper.
