I have half a dozen elite skeleton warriors with axes, shields, good armor, resistances, etc. they are attacking an enemy Red Mage(fireballer). it should fall pretty quickly.... then the dice gods intervene...
He is so fething badass, that he just holds up his staff, and without casting any spells, just goes full "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" mode, and beats all my undead half full-dead with it....
in the end, i come out of the encounter with more HP loss...

But the dice gods are not the only ones who can play dirty... If they make me fail 6 70% rolls in a row, i just decide to save before every attack and keep reloading it until i get a realistic result...
I mean....seriously... When a goblin spearman just waltzes in to my fort, and stabs my max level necromancer master to death in a single turn... Seriously, dice gods....
The funny thing is, i have noted down my statistics... Even when the enemy and i have the same chance to hit, the AI gets significantly more hits in... Consistently, not just a random, isolated abnormality thats always present...

OOC: if the AI isn't on normal it'll get massive buffs.

Especially in total war, oh look I just conquered your empire. But you have a single 'city' left with no income due to my agents destroying your infrastructure and still can afford to have a full 20 stack of the best units your faction has

Ooc. Its like this on all difficuilties. Im just replaying an old campaign for the story and to refamiliarise myself with tbe game, on easiest difficuilty now, and i still get these shitty rolls all the time.
If its on harder, the AI gets more starting money, and consequently units. Apart from that... Dunno... But im pretty sure it gets even higher "fuck you" roll ratios too...
Even here, i send basically the nightbringers little bro against a single mage novice, and be just shrugs it off...
