Dead where they stood, sat or slept. quick and clean. no more than one wound per corpse, each in an instantly fatal place.

Raeven: +I would like to send some of my brothers with you. Uninjured astartes are wasted running civilians back to safe space.+

Charles: +I'll take any help I can get+

Tyren: "They would come to 'rescue' me, if they knew."

Raeven: +I have five marines to send. two of my best sergeants, my devastators, and my youngest.+

Tyren: *hug* "I'll have to go some day... but not today."

*He is greeted by a battlescarred thunderhawk, and five, battered, but still strong astartes. A truly gigantic assault marine, standing a head above his brothers. Three devastator marines, two carrying heavy bolters, and the third a lascannon. and one tactical marine.*

Lyanna: you big softie.

Charles: welcome aboard gentlemen.

Tyren: "You looked about an inch from crying. and you're calling me soft?"

Logen: "Good to be aboard, inquisitor."

Lyanna: Shut up *grin*

Charles: the captain fill you in?

Logen: "He did."

Tyren: *Hugs*

Charles: good. I'm sorry about your brothers lost on cadia. They died like heroes.

Lyanna hug back

Logen: "I was unaware our brothers were there. I'll include them in my prayers"

Tyren: *Smiles widely*

Charles: *nods* Anyway, we depart in about ten minutes. Any questions before we do?

She smiles back
"Glad you found that woman you were thinking of?"

Logen: "only where you want us."

Tyren: "You mean an intelligent ten millennia old woman? Still looking im afraid." *Sarcastic grin*

Charles: for now just get comfortable. It's about a day's warp jump away.

Lyanna does a mock offended face

Tyren: *Pulls her closer into the hug* "I found her."

Logen: "A few light repairs to our armour will be required, could you point us to your forge?"
*By light repairs, logen's helmet is cracked across his left eye, and everyone has cuts in their armour, not cutting through the plating into the power cables, but deep cuts none the less.*
