Anne: glad you didn't *grins and takes another drink*

Laurence: *searches in the clutter of paper on his desk for a moment, then finds the paper he was looking for, and shows it to caiber. It is an anatomical diagram, showing a humanoid figure with overdeveloped musculature, heavy clawed hands, and thick legs. the beast looks more suited to walking on all fours than upright.* "This... I've been working on it a while."

Jack: "I'm flattered. Someone's glad i exist." *Drinks*

Caiber: what?

Anne: what, the others don't like you?

Laurence: "Designed for hunting in an underhive."

Jack: "No, they like me well enough. Well, save for hakken, but he doesn't really like anyone."

Caiber:...why?

Anne: odd bunch aren't you?  *drink*

Laurence: "To better hunt in an underhive... Which is my job."

jack: "Weird is what it takes to stay alive in a penal legion."

Caiber: since when? You haven't been in an underhive since we met.

Anne: I can imagine. So...i'm curious. What do you think of the inquisitor, and working for him? Change of pace for you I imagine.

Laurence: "This is not normal circumstances. My usual job is the eradication of chaotic cults."

Jack: "Well, been a bit dull so far. The orks were interesting, but besides that, lot of sweet fanny adams."

Caiber: right...

Anne: oh trust me, this is unusual

Jack: "If there's plenty of interesting assignments, i'll have no problems with him."

Laurence: "If my calculations are correct." *sits down at his desk again.* "...The mono molecular blades, combined with the muscle strength should also give it favourable trading potential with astartes... But of course speed is a factor, but the additional strength is required for use against fortifications and vehicles." *he's just rambling to himself at this point.*

Anne: really? no qualms with the big bad I?

Caiber: you find a lot of astartes in underhives?

Laurence: "I plan for eventualities."

Jack: "Why would i?"

Caiber: *looks at the design*....the words 'night haunter' come to mind

Anne: well lucy for one seems to not be too fond of him.

Laurence: "That was butchery, this is efficiency."

jack: "Thats because the inquisition kills lots of probably innocent people."

Caiber: is that so? Cause the night haunter worked in a twisted sense. 

Anne: not this inquisitor.

Laurence: "I'm not trying to keep peace on an entire planet, im just killing some chaos cultists."

jack: "I couldn't really care either way."

Caiber: *shrugs* I've done that before to be fair.

Anne: fair enough.

Jack: "What works works." *shrug*

Laurence: "I already have a bloody enough reputation just for doing that."

Anne: fair point.

Caiber raises an eyebrow

Laurence: "I have the nickname, Butcher of pyros. You think i got it for handing out hugs?"

Jack: "You have a problem with the inquisition?"

Caiber:....unless that's a planet, that nickname is so highly specific it's laughable.

Anne: no, I just know a lot of people do.

Laurence: "planet in the helican sub sector."

Jack: "Means to an end, better than the alternative."

Caiber: ah. I didn't get a nickname. Didn't leave any survivors to give me one.

Anne: you aren't wrong.

Laurence: "Twelve different cults. One must have slipped away, or someone watched the picts. The name was as much among the inquisition as the cultists."

Jack: "but glassing planets is a little wasteful."

Caiber: right. 

Anne: Charles hasn't done that once in all the time I've known him, and that's been quite a while

Laurence: "still not sure if its a congratulation, or condemnation."

Jack: "well good on him."

Caiber: who knows. *chuckles* I can tell you the tech priests where i'm from had a few names for me when they saw me face to face. Definitely not congratulations there.

Anne's eyebrow raises a bit

Jack: "what?"

Laurence: "Any good ones, or just alarmed binary?"

Anne: nevermind. You know jack...for a psychopathic murderer...you aren't that bad *smile*

Caiber: mostly variations on the word 'abomination'

Jack: "I prefer the term assassin." *wink*

laurence: "Where on earth did they get that from?" *sarcasm is obvious.*

she smiles a bit wider at that and takes another sip

Caiber: *equally sarcastic* your emperor only knows

Jack: "You're not so bad yourself."

Laurence: "Touche. Now get out if you dont want to see me chop my arm off."

Anne: cheers *smile*

Caiber:...ugh

Laurence: *Picks up his power sword in his left hand.* "Off you go."

jack: "So...."

*time skip to the ship arriving fuck it*

Caiber: fine. *goes to leave*

*Sword swing, blood splatter sound* "FUCK!"

+Better be prepared if its corsairs. Byrne, move us into the debris.+

Jax: "Could be worse..."

Charles: very much so. Relax, they have no affiliation with their dark kin.

Jax: "I know a decent amount about eldar."

Charles: I know. What I'm curious about is who they were fighting, or why they're here.

Max: *Chuckles* "What's wrong with a house on a ship?"

jax: "if its corsairs, anything, and everything."

Akira: "I dont have a garden."
