Calton *clearly improvising*: Hey, we're going to deal with those freaks. Okay? You can get pay back.

she looks up at calton tears dripping from her face

Calton *still improvising*: Um...look, I really can't promise anything. All I can really tell you is that you're probably not the only one who lost someone today. Once we find where these things are hiding, I promise I won't get in your way.

Calton: So....what happened? You're not hurt, are you?

Calton: Oh. Okay. Just....alright. *Walks away from her, not sure what to do.*

Celi is sat down fiddling with her rifle

*Calton goes over to Celi.*

Calton: Well...great....*sighs* I hate sitting around like this....I feel trapped.

celi: this damn gun stopped working

Calton: Let me have a look at it. *He takes it from her and begins to look for any problems.*

*the trigger is jamming*

*Calton carefully starts to examine it.*

Calton: Hm....if that's the case...I'd have to disassemble the entire weapon. Well...seeing as how we're just sitting around...You okay with me taking it apart? You can use my rifle for the time being.

"go ahead"

*He hands her his vindicator and begins to disassemble the rifle so he can try and fix it.*

she watches it closely

*He stills fiddling with the internal components, swearing occasionally.*

Calton: Okay, who ever last did maintenance on this weapon didn't do a good job. Seriously, there's all sorts of congealed grease and other material in here.

"oh...whoops"

*He looks at her, his head cocked to one side.*

"It was me...."

*He's clearly surprised.*

Calton: Oh. I....Didn't think you'd ever leave a weapon looking like this. Um...yeah. I'll get it fixed. Just give me sometime.

"i'm not good at maintanence. thanks."

Calton: Oh. Um...I didn't mean it like that. Sorry.

Calton: Everyone okay?

Calton: So long as nothing's broken....*Gets up and looks at Kharr* What was that?

Kharr: *is at the command console* the engines just suddenly went int overdrive...

Calton: So these things are hiding in engineering then. At least we know where they are.

"yes....but at the same time this is bad. i've lost all control of the engines"

Calton: So we retake engineering and we take back the ship.

"yep"

Calton: So what are we waiting for? If there are other survivors, contact them and bring them here. This may be our only shot.
