one of the brigardi, possibly joachim, sees kenshin leaving the building

*The Brigardi Kenshin was talking with the other day notices, grabs his bayonet and musket, and follows.*

he goes outside
the female guard from the gate is there

*The Brigardi stays in the shadows and observers them.*

the two hug and start talking

*He continues to observe them, the look on his face darkening as the possible topics of their conversation go through his mind.*

the two head for the sake den

*He continues to watch them.*

they go in, get drinks and sit

*He doesn't follow them, but he stays up and stands guard.*

they sit, talk and drink for a long time

*He waits.*

I was there as he slipped, further and further. I was unsure if my fear was real as he slowed. Mother was away on call to tend to an elder patient, being a Hospice Nurse, but I called her and come she did. I watched as he slowed and coughed, choking on what would turn out as a rawhide he had devoured. He fell and passed out and I sounded the alarm, and worry turned to fear as he slipped from the world. Heimlich and CPR couldn't rouse him as I waited for Mother to arrive.
With door unlocked she rushed in, prying the obstruction from his throat and trying to save him. The other dogs were happy to see her, but I shoo'd them away to give her space. Try and try as she might, it was too late.

As sorrow swept over us my creation, the Prophet, learned to cry...

As I reflected and thought, it came to me, I watched death's grip from start to finish. He was only a puppy...

OOC: and now I just feel guilty, that must have been horrible Fae
