Elise: Well, i am bored, so i will hunt heretics... I will leave demons to the malleus fanatics if i can help it...

Cyra: "Also travel around with them for protection..." *Pointed look at tempus*

Elise: Oh, what might you be referring to? last time i checked, he was sanctioned in order to complete his penance for his crimes....

Cyra: "That particular document did pass across my desk... Complete fiction as far as i could see, well written fiction."

Elise: yeeees.... which i forwarded to the brass.....

Cyra: "Yes... I seem to remember approving it."

Elise: ......as i feared.......... i am not sure how top feel about that, actually.... are you saying that it did not, in fact, get to the attention of high command...?

Cyra: "It did, but they were less than enthusiastic about the idea. So, i decided to do my favourite little inquisitor a favour."

Elise: ......you finally fucked Raphael?

Cyra: *her self satisfied smile drops for a moment* "How did you know it was... And no. Raphael isn't on your high command."

Elise: Ah, suspicions confirmed... Now, i wonder which world is actually involved... maybe that one that dear little raphael spends so much time on lately...?

Cyra: "Yes, quite likely. Among others."

Elise: what a shame it would be if someone were to investigate that world a bit more thoroughly....

Cyra: "A shame indeed... But, a known radical, investigating dear Raphael, a Puritan through and through... how would that look?"

Elise: she can be very persuasive.... which usually means you should really not listen to it... Okay, lets put it this way.... How many times did trusting a demon, end well for the mortal in the history of the galaxy? And how many times *did* it end well?

Cyra: "when the mortal becomes a daemon prince, ruling over a world in the immaterium as they so wish and attaining immortality?"

Elise: Yes, yes... now remind me, what percentage of those who trust demons ends up like that, compared to the ones who end up dead if lucky, or worse if not?

Cyra: "It all depends on your mental fortitude. Besides, this is quite the unique case."

Elise: I am still most interested in the percentages.... but ill humour you, how is this a unique case...?

Cyra: "I'm not offering you power, of any type, you don't worship the gods and neither do i, I'm not turning you to my side, Rather, i'm telling you that i am on yours."

Elise: And therein lies our problem, you see.... when was the last time a demon said "I am going to empower your body, but i am also going to devour your soul... or give it to my god, whichever. Anyway, point is, you are really going to regret this, but feel free to go ahead if you want"? No, its always so reasonable and tempting...

Cyra: "Would you like me to promise not to devour your soul? I have no intentions of doing so... Your body on the other hand..."

Elise: You are not devouring my body either. Im not into vore... And the problem of why i should trust your word, still persists...

Cyra: "I wasn't referring to your flesh... A promise is a promise. Light some candles, write me an oath. Then we could use the candles for romantic lighting..." *she winks conspiratorially*

Elise: Oh, and what would you promise with that oath?

Cyra: "I'm fairly sure you were worried about me eating your soul..."

Elise: ......among other things... I am also reasonably worried of being manipulated, possessed, blackmailed, generally enslaved, or just plain out killed, among other things...

Cyra: "I've already blackmailed you, its a little late for that, that also counts as manipulation. but the other ones you're safe from."

Elise: Yees, and what would either of us actually get out of this deal again...? Sure, we dont do the above to each other, but for what purpose...?

Cyra: "So that we trust eachother, and i can count on your assistance, and you mine."

Elise: Oh, such a tempting offer.... Tempus, how binding is such an agreement with a demon?

Tempus: [A deal is a deal, as she says. She won't break the conditions.]

Elise: ...riiight... So, I suspect if we do this, its gonna lead to future agreements... or not... at any rate, i shall do it as such: For our general interactions, and future deals/agreements, the following rules shall apply: No directly killing the other or knowingly causing their death... no possessing, demonic mind manipulating, murderfucking the other... mostly me... *to the general public* did i miss anything?

Cyra: "So only Murder fucking is off the table."
