she doesn't reply

"I'll take that as understanding." *He leaves the room.*

*After about a minute*
“He’s rather...pissed off”

she just shrugs "If he wants to intimidate me, he's gotta find a way to actually hurt me first."

“I think he would find a way...eventually”

"Plenty of time."

“To do what?”

she shrugs

*He mouths ‘Escape?’*

"Maybe. No idea where I'd go."

“Home?”

"My home's gone"

“I’m sorry to hear that”

"It's...fine. Maybe I'll tell you about it some time. Once I've got some drinks in me."

“If I live long enough, drinks are on me”

"Thanks"

“Least I can do”

she walks in and sits down

“He sits forward, as he is unable to stand*
“Are you alright?”

"Haven't been for a while...but that doesn't matter"

“Of course it does...though I doubt you want to talk about it”

"Not especially"

“Thought so...”

"...I didn't catch your name"

“Evann Erhart”

she nods

“And you?”

"Rosa"

*he nods* “Thank you, Rosa”

"You're welcome"

“What...now?”

"...I haven't a clue"

*He nods*
“Is there a spare bed?”

"Yeah"

“Mind if I use it?”

"At this point you really think I'd say no?"

“Always worth asking”

"It's all yours"

“Thanks” *The man smiles weakly*

"It's nothing"

*What now?*

*skip to next day?*

*Alright, you lead*

*rosa's outside the house, just sort of stood around*

*Evann slowly makes his way to the front of the house and leans against the door, looking outside*
“Are you alright?”

"Yeah. You?"

“Doing better”

"I can tell"

“I can sort of walk now”

"Glad to hear it"
