and for some reason, if i activate the autopilot in the lower atmosphere, that really, only keeps the craft pointed in one direction to the best of its abilities, the plane starts flapping its wings like crazy... which is not helping me achieve orbit at all...

Welp.... the craft did not break apart upon opening the parachutes....

only 2 problems now:
i only just realised that i put two meager little parachutes on a rather large and heavy craft...
we are going down in the mountains, in pitch black, and i have no idea which way the ground will slope... so theres a good chance that eveyone will die horribly even now...

After clambering out of the wreckage, Jebediah Kerman, lone survivor of the tragically crashed prototype D-16 SSTO Spaceplane, surveyed his sorrounding... his dick was gone, ripped off by the turbojet... whoever wrote that emergency instructions manual certainly wasnt clear enough in his instructions... worse still, at least half of the spacecraft, including the cockpits of his fellow kerbonauts, Bill and Bob, were missing as well.... it seems the impact completely vaporised their bodies... After an ear splitting shriek of grief to the heavens, he decided to place the C-7 Aerospace flag at the crashsite in their honor, then settled in for the night among the flaming pieces of wreckage...
Tomorrow, a new fight shall start... to the west, endless ocean that they just flew over... all around him, mountains... To the east, over the mountains, a vast desert... And beyond that desert, some more mountains, and a bit of grassland, the sole bastion of civilization: The Kerbal Space Center...
One would assume that they would come and rescue him, however, someone neglected to install any sort of communication devices on the D-16, yet again,... he was on his own...

Well.... after some research, there is a sequel trilogy, though judging by the titles, its not about the protagonist of the first trilogy at all... we'll see....
thats my problem with such "small" titles... when reading 40k, or even Starcraft, there were always at least a dozen more books waiting for me...

Well, 2 things spring to my mind at once...
One, my CPU is the exact minimum requirement... im not sure if this rig would like the game...
Two, is it gonna be an MMO? o.O
if so, Free to play, monthly pay(or other interval), or buy to play? o.O
because i dont intend to regularly spend a relatively lot of cash just so i can keep playing a game.... otherwise, i would be playing EVE by now... and knowing how GW prices their products, which this game indirectly is, i doubt that it will be cheap
