which basically means making the centurion a certain specialisations
consuls not including legion specific ones are: 
chaplains
librarians
master of signal
legion champion
vigilator
forge lord
primus medicae
siege breaker

And I imagine saboteurs are the trickery kind of guys.
Using their opponents strengths as weaknesses, using unfair tactics, and backstabbing.
That kind of speciality?

saboteurs do the following
the lone killer: cannot be your compulsery HQ
Special Deployment: they must begin in reserve but have outflank
Sabotage: when they enter play, you select a single enemy unit or fortification on the table. they take either D6 S6 ap4 hits or take a single penetrating hit. no cover saves are allowed against this
they may not have terminator armour, jetbikes, power fists, bikes, hammers or boarding shields
automaticaly have Cameleoline (camo cloak) and melta bombs

your starting wargear is cameleoline, melta bombs, power armour, combat weapon and pistol
in addition to this you may have a power knife
you may also have a volkite charger, bolter or combi weapon
may swap pistol/combat weapon for the following
volkite serpenta
plasma pistol
heavy chainsword
charabal sabre
power weapon
single lightning claw
may swap both for 2 claws
may take artificer armour
may take a combat shield or refractor feild (note combat shields in this are 6++, 5++ in combat)
may take jump pack

Alright, I'll take the power knife, the power weapon, bolt pistol with the special rounds only alpha legion get, and a lightweight power armour.

Or the lightest, I'll look.

Can I also have a additional volkolite charger, or is that a swap thing?

actually them speshul ammo (which sons of horus also get cause alpha legion gave it to them) is only on the bolter or combi bolter, not the pistol
for some strange reason
and with the volkite, combi weapon or bolter its you have that in addition to all other wargear

my guy's a praetor so his stuff is...powerful to say the least
but he's just my first. basically how this is gonna work is NO ONE has plot armour
but to balance this out everyone can have up to 3 main characters at a time
my world eater is gonna be as powerful as fuck
but the other two will not

To be honest, GW is being a bit lazy.

1) that's the sanguinary guard edition. standard one's the same as the normal ones for everyone else
2) is it? to me it looks like the current marine tactical squad, with a bunch o blood angely bits, hand flamer, inferno pistol, and the missile launcher swapped for a heavy bolter n heavy flamer
3) found...what?

And the tactical squad is copy paste from other sprues with minor alteration, and a few new bits like a heavy flamer and a helmet.

to me it looks like a kitbash of the sanguinary guard, tactical marines, and death company kits, but with 1 or 2 new bits

i'm also saying people can have a force to go with their commander. centurion level (your guy) gets up to 6 squads. you lose a squad however they're gone for good

I literally have been saying that, copy paste from old sprues with minor alterations with 2 or so new bits.

But in all... I'm disappointed.

and as for vehicles, centurion level gets i vehicle unit (most vehicles come in squads)
dreadnoughts count as squads not vehicles
no super heavies at all
