Expanded Beginnings

Eliza *whispering*: Fuck, fuck, fuck.....

*He just chuckles and goes to get what he needs.*

*I grab both rifles and hand her one, ignoring the screaming*
"I'm gonna keep us cloaked until we can see it, whilst you set up your turret I'll keep it distracted and hopefully avoid becoming a human barbeque. The combined firepower should overload the shields and allow us to pierce its armour"

*She takes the rifle.*

Eliza: Probably the best idea aside from using explosives, which wouldn't be a good idea on a ship.

"Nothing to do with fighting is good on a ship"
*I offer her my hand*

*She takes it.*

*I help her up*
"Ready?"

Eliza: As ready as I'll ever be.

*I wrap my arm around her and activate my cloak*

*She starts to set up a turret.*

*I wait for the Pyro to appear*

celi decides she's hungry and goes to get some food

it advances, firing short bursts ahead of itself every few seconds since it saw you cloak before

*She doesn't know what Calton is working on....largely because he doesn't contact her again for a few more days.*

++Calton: Celi, I'm done. You can come see what I've been working on for so long.++

*Eliza remains quiet.*

*When the turret is ready*
"Activate it and back away the moment I'm not touching your shoulder"

*I inhale and sprint toward a corridor beside the pyro*

*She activates the turret.*

OOC: I wonder if my KFC will arrive on time

OOC: Canadian-Welshmen eat KFC?

OOC: -_- and yes I do...when mum orders it

it hears the footsteps and turns

++i was getting worried++

*I run down the corridor and turn before opening fire*

*Eliza and the turret open fire.*

++Calton: Sorry, but I wanted it be a surprise. Come by my room when you get a chance.++

it sees the turret and advances, its shields going down but still taking the shots, as it lets out bursts of fire

*Eliza aims for its head and fires.*

*When she gets there she...see's Calton in a new suit. It is colored gunmetal grey and is very heavily armored. He also has a new, custom built battle rifle.*

Calton: Well....what do you think?

*I aim for its torso*

it manages to incinerate the turret but starts to get staggered by the incoming fire

"I love it!"

*Eliza continues to fire.*

Calton: Thanks. There's...um...one more thing. *He goes over to his workbench and removes a tarp from it. There's another suit like his on the bench, except it's clearly made for a female.*

*I keep shooting*
"Turn around flashlight"

it ignores him and continues advancing on her firing bursts with its flamer

....*she squees and hugs him*

*She begins to back away from it as best she can.*

Calton: I thought you would like that. *Now that she's hugging him, she notices a couple more things about his suit (and by extension, the one he built for her). First, there's no facemask to remove. It's just a helmet with a visor. Second is how military and professional it is. Maybe it's a good sign?*

*I close in to point blank and hit it with the rifle*

its almost down but it reaches range on her with its flamer....

"no facemask?"

"Run!"

*I fire my rail gun into its head*

*She fires at it wildly as she moves away from it as fast as she can.*

Calton: Well....a facemask is a vulnerability seeing as how it can be knocked off by a strong enough impact, or ripped off in cqc. I kind of designed these with combat and defense in mind, more than anything. Not like it really matters as far as I'm concerned. When we're together, we just take the helmets off completely anyway.

it goes down in a fiery explosion

she smiles at that
"glad you thought about that"

*Eliza breathes a sigh of relief.*

Calton: Yeah....um...anyway, I can have the room seal and sterilize so you can change into the new suit if you want.

*Large amounts of burns on the outside of his hands*

Eliza: Are you okay?

"Pain...stinging ouch, ow...fucking ow!"
*does that weird shaking thing to make it go away*

*She sighs and applies medi-gel to his hands.*

"Thank you, is your leg alright?"

Eliza: As good as it can be with just medi-gel.

"Want me to take you to medical?"

Eliza: May be a good idea, assuming anyone else is still alive.

"Alright, just put your weight on me and I'll walk you there"

*She does so.*

*He begins walking her toward the medical bay with his rifle raised*

*She has her rifle ready as well.*

OOC: Gor is offline so should we act as if the Geth boarders are dead?

OOC: I'm not sure. And I'm going to to bed now, man. Night.
