It hits her in the shoulder, embedding itself in it, the momentum of the unexpected strike enough to carry her backwards and knock her on the ground... As the dust settles though, adriel runs out to have been hit in the side of the torso, her axe sticking out of her abdomen*

Lir: .....*having given up on self-removing the blade* .....So... A draw for now?

Adriel: "I think we call it a draw."

*and what da waaagh be doin?*
*she walks over to him, and tears the axe out of his side... well, not tear, but take it out anyway...*

*Da waagh be ded quiet, dis da best fight dey seen in ages.*

*As she does so, he reaches out, and pulls his sword from her shoulder, plants it in the ground, and uses it to push himself up*

Lir: *She looks around at the surrounding waaagh as her armour and wounds start healing already* .....Now.... Where are those two gits who won the tournament?!

"WAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHH!!"
*The orks slam stomp and shout, as the meganob is pushed, still dazed from his beating, down the sides of the crater, and the kommando, speaks from behind lir.* "Ere boss."

Lir: *After they stand before her, asking the meganob* Now, what are you called?

Meganob: "uughhhnnn..." *Wobbling about*

Girlom: "eez called Rokfist."

Lir: *slamming the butt of her axe into the ground in front of them strong enough to make it stand on its own. She speaks once more to them, but even those out of view can see and hear a vision of whats happening.* Now, champions of the tournament! *purple fire lights up the head of her axe, cackling with small lightning bolts* You have suitably proven your ability to me, and as promised, you shall receive a reward! Take it, and serve me well with it!

*they are both hit by several bolts of purple lightning with enough force to knock them to the ground*

Girlom: "Blo'dy 'ell boss, coulda given us some warnin!"

Rokfist: *Falls unconscious again.*

*as they get up*

*Rokfist is feeling stronger... plus the meganob armour of Rokfist is molding itself to be more sleek instead of a random arrangement of metal pieces. It is still quite orky, but it resembles her own drakish armor somwhat. Its powerklaw molded more into the shape of a dragon paw+claws, and the custom shoota on the other hand, into a dragons heads, with the barrels coming out of the mouth... also, that one now fires incendiary shotgun shells... because why not... and effective ones, not fireworks...*

*meanwhile, Girloms purpleness becomes more and more.... warpy... to the point where it is hard for the normal eye to locate him while not moving... he also feels faster and lighter than before... well, not so much to write here because, you know... kommando stuff is not her forté...*

*Rokfist stumbles to his feet.* "Me mega armour! It's all... un-orky."

Girlom: "Blo'dy 'ell. I'z all unseeable."

Lir: It is still quite "orky".... But a champion of mine, should have some style... Rokfist, the Juggernaut, and Girlom, the Stalker....

Rokfist: *Fires his new gun into the air.* "ITS ON FIRE! DIS ROIT ERE, DIS DA SHOOTIEST DERE IS!"

Lir: ....so it is... It also does not need so much... finesse when aiming...

Rokfist: "Wots finsess?"

Lir: .....point and case...... just point in the vague direction of the target and shoot.... cant fire as far as a "shoota" but barely need to aim up close and also shoots fire...

Rokfist: "Fanks boss!"
*looks very pleased*

Lir: ...now then.... Back to your job, you lazy gits!

Grutaka: "YOU ERD DA BOSS! GET TO ET!"

*after they have left*
Lir: ...well, this was mildly amusing...

*Adriel's wound has closed, and his armour is repairing itself. much to his surprise* "Mildly? Best fight i've had in a while."

Lir: Well, does not come near to many of the battles i have been in, but it was mildly amusing

Adriel: "Not quite as interesting as our escapades in the warp, but close."

Lir: now.... this is going smoothly here, it would seem... not quite ready to branch out, i think, but close. The eldar are coming along fine, based on how im feeling, and I assume the humans have been put in their places as well, yes?

Adriel: "I may have accidentally made a man piss himself."

Lir: ............nice

Adriel: "It turns out, that 3 metre tall angels are frighting."

Lir: Who would have guessed.... hmmm... maybe a visit to cyra would be a nice change of pace...

Adriel: "Not wanting to keep fighting things? You've changed since i met you."

Lir: not wanting to brutally dismember anything less than completely human? So have you

Adriel: "I would have to kill myself in that case."

Lir: isnt necessity such a wonderful incentive?

"It is indeed, that and insight."

Lir: And what grand insight have you gained?

Adriel: "The imperium is not the only thing doing any good."

Lir: Oh? tat raises two questions though.... The imperium IS doing good? and more importantly, who did you deem like they are doing good?

*within the vault, they see display cases with all sorts of broken masonry, hull plating fragments, bones, sand, and even some of the black goop from before, held in a stasis field in its own separate alcove*

Adriel: "The Imperium continues the existence of the human race in some kind of sane form, i think we can agree that constitutes good. and, fighting against the gods is a universally good thing, so, we're doing something good?"

Lir: i dont know about you, but i fight them because it aligns with my interests. Besides, sanity is so overrated anyway...

Adriel: "You're not a slavering beast, you still have your sanity."

Lir: aaaah, you still have much to learn...
