The Metasis flies into the underside of the zeppelin with a headbutt and collides the carriage with the balloon for a second

IC as the Arbite falls he sees the shadow of the Metasis after him
*epic fall scene go, can you pull it off? the fall itself won't kill but the metasis can*

the beast gets hit with a shell from the main cannon of the zeppelin

He pulls out his pistol, firing while falling.

The Metasis flies off for now into the cloud cover of the dark

Mark: *falling closer* Grab on!

Slo mo falling, he closes his eyes; arms outstretched as he falls.

He opens his eyes, grabbing on.

mark grabs onto his hand as he pulls he string on his parachute

Ooc: this is gonna hurt.

The arbite allows himself to take the pressure, his elbow and shoulder cracking and popping out of place as the drop suddenly stops.

the Metasis levels out from the dive and beelines at them

Mark throws a fire grenade into its mouth

OOC what, a few grenades strapped to him, a shotgun and most of his stuff in his backpack

Ooc: all the shotgun shells, grenades for the undermounted grenade launcher, the grenades he's carrying, and all the other stuff your gonna pull out.

OOC other stuff? he's got a few grenades, a pouch of grenades for the launcher (he's only fired it like three or four times at most) his shotgun ammo, and then the stuff in his backpack...not all that much

the Metasis veers off enough that they kick off its teeth and it continues flying into the cloud cover again

the Metasis rears back around and shreds the parachute cloth (it has understanding!)

However, since this has been standard design in parachutes since ww2, he deploys the secondary parachute

The arbite uses his unbroken arm, aiming his pistol and firing the remaining 2 shots.

*they're pretty close to the ground at this point.*

Ooc: but the ship was really high up.

OOC they would have fallen pretty far before he deployed the first chute

Ooc: ah, alright.

the Metasis is gone though. with the cloud cover he disappeared as the endless night stretches out before them
