OOC. nope... all enemies charge me from beyond my vision range,... except the ones that are specifically programmed not to...

OOC: but i still think that mental breakdown is more acurate.... speaking of which, rtheres supposedly a mental breakdown mechanic in it as well.... which can be avoided by "reading" porn magazines....

Meanwhile back the. Ship
Sev packs up his things and leaves a not for keili and celi and he leaves to the shuttle

OOC: So, Gorath and Hermit, where were we?

I...aint sure

OOC: I think they were about to come face to face with a rather nasty beast but I'm not 100% sure.

OOC: Well, they were talking about setting a trap for the thing behind them and how to fight it.

*Calton begins to set hook up some of his spare grenades to tripwires.*

Hermit: "Here, let me help you with some of those. The more the merrier."

Calton: Alright, just be careful. *Hands Hermit a couple of grenades and tripwires.*

Hermit: *helps set up some tripwires and grenades* "That should help hold him off for a second. However, we need to hurry when we deal with him. There are still guards around, y'know."

Kharr pulls out his shotgun

*Footsteps continue to emanate from the depths of the hallway. Grunts are heard and a loud exhale shakes the surrounding air.*

Calton: Yeah, we haven't forgotten...*Takes a position near some large crates and readies his Vindicator.*

at which point the thing rounds the corner. it's a krogan and a particurlarly big one...with a massive greatsword in one hand and a shotgun in the other

Calton: Well shit.

OOC: Yes, I've stopped censoring. I censored in 40k because...oddly, modern swears don't really fit in 40k. Mass Effect on the other hand....

OOC: It definitely doesn't bother me, man.

it charges headfirst at them

*Calton opens fire as it activates several of the tripwire lined grenades.*

*The Krogan grunts, obviously slowing its assault on the group. However, it looks determined.*
OOC: Gorath, if someone were to damage its shoulder humps, would that help slow it down even more? Its healing would probably be weaker if that happened.

OOC problem is hermit he's in armour. also I'm kinda controlling him
IC the shots bounce off his barriers as he turns to calton, a glare on his face

OOC: I know. I was curious about that in the event that his armor could be damaged. Sorry. You were just taking a little while so I added something descriptive to help set it up for the both of you to add things. Sorry.

OOC: It's okay, buddy.

IC:

Calton : Oh crap. *Tosses a grenade at the Krogan and runs down the row of crates.*

OOC: It's all good. Sorry.
IC: Hermit: *Brings up rifle and shoots in what he deems to be sensitive areas* "We need to think outside the box because this guy is a walking tank...Maybe..."

it gets barged into a wall by kharr's robo arm

Calton: What are you doing!? *Can't get a clear shot with Kharr so close to the Krogan.*

Hermit: "Hold him there!" *squeezes past the Krogan quickly and fires a few rounds into its head to avoid Kharr* "And a little something extra." *Kicks it in the back of the legs to throw it off balance before retreating, nearly getting hit in the process*

Kharr: disarming it!

Hermit: "I didn't know you could do that. That's a handy skill."

Calton: What!? Fine. *He switches his Vindicator to full auto and empties its current thermal clip into one of the Krogan's arms at close range.*

Jakaar is waiting outside with the strike team

OOC: Hey, Azrok

kharr pushes it away, stumbling it

Hermit: *Watches Calton firing at the Krogan. Hermit looks puzzled. He didn't remember Calton being quite so skilled with weapons before and something was different about him...However, he couldn't place it.*

Hermit: *Notices a pieces of damaged metal laying on the ground next to him. He runs to beside Calton and throws it at the Krogan, wherever he could no matter of whether it hurt the Krogan or not. It was at least a distraction.*
OOC: Hey, Azrok. Didn't notice your post until now.

it looks up, a glare on its face

Ooc which one

OOC: Your last one.

Calton: Kharr, if you've got anything on your that can knock out a Krogan, if that's what you're going for, use it now!

Kharr: working on it! 
*it readies its greatsword and goes for calton*

Hermit: "Oh, great!" *Pushes Calton away since he is beside him*
OOC: Is that cool with you, Gorath, or did it mess up something you had planned?

IC he swings

*Calton rolls away from the blow.*

Calton: Is it me, or does this guy have it out for me?!

+Bit of a problem with a krogan with a damn sword!+

IC: *Swipes his hand to the sword, causing a chip in it. He multiplied the force behind his hand several times and jumps away.* "Any ideas, Kharr?"

OOC: Did....I just get a mental image of a biotic punching away a Krogan's sword? Yeah...but going by lore biotics can break someone's neck just by punching them so I'm...not actually surprised.

IC:

Calton: Yeah, ideas would be great. *Dodges another blow.*
