Fog of Death- this tactic is a giant pale green biological fog used to sweep over enemy positions before the marines arrive. This fog infects unprotected skin and airways, producing near instant effects of nausea, headaches, pains at exposed regions, etc. The ailments of the fog are a debilitating factor against the Chapter's foes, along with whittling down the enemies' will and provoking fear from the infected as those afflicted slowly degrade in body until they fester with disease.
Leadership: the Chapter's leader alters himself with apparel to look like the figure of death in battle armor, holding a large decorated scythe and adorning black cloths to hang from joints in his armor which itself in blackened. While his fellow marines also adorn themselves with cloaks and cloths from their joints, they maintain colors that blend with the fog's color. As such their leader/Chapter Master gains his appearance as death through disease with the marines appearing as specters amidst the fog.
Figure of Legend- this marine was short into his stature of aspiring champion when the chapter did battle with loyalists. The Chapter Master of the loyalists stood defiant against the renegades with his Battle Brothers as he fought them in their own fog without fail. Renegade Chapter Master and Chapter Master did battle as the renegade kept at him from the fog, apparently angered by his counterpart's defiance against his tide. Not many could see the clash of equal figures but the Renegade had to withdraw due to injuries while the loyalist was merely scratched around his armor. The aspiring champion was quick to assume the combat against the loyalist defensively. The loyalist and the champion drew against each other longer then most would expect before the aspiring champion drew the fatal blow the the chapter master. Few know that the champion didn't have the fog do the dirty work against the Chapter Master. The Renegade Chapter thought the fog the reason for his triumph from his damage to the master's armor. In truth the Aspiring Champion drew his power sword into the Chapter Master's neck and killed him there, but despite his word he continues to be down played. Despite the down play he was inspired by his triumph over the loyalist and grew better in combat, now he waits for his moment to prove himself without doubt amongst peers
