Jax: "Sounds dicey. If we bring a large force, we won't be able to pass undetected, but a small one wont be able to fight off an assault if they do notice us."

Charles: hmm...perhaps we could ask our eldar 'friend' for a little more help?

Jax: "I reckon we've got enough forces for a good solid diversion." *Strokes his chin* "We need a map."

Charles: you don't think the full on ground war is a good enough distraction?

Jax: "We can't predict the eldar. We need to draw all the forces around the artefact way from it."

Charles: true enough.

Jax: "So, a diversion it is?"

Charles: I suppose so. You appear to have an idea for that, lets hear it.

Jax: "Aye. You take what forces you need to get that artefact, Serah and i will make one hell of a distraction."

Charles: What do you need?

Jax: "About a tonne of plastic explosives, a dropship, three of your best marksmen... and a cadian cigar."

Jax: "Whatever you can throw my way, i can make work. But I can do a decent distraction with just that."

Charles: I can give you a platoon of my men if that'll help.

Jax: "perfect. in that case, a half tonne of anti personnel mines wouldn't go amiss. And i need a map, to find a good spot."

Charles: alright. +Laurence, I need you to get me an accurate map of the combat area+

+Some of the cogitators on these wrecked vessels could be in tact. i'll start looking.+

+On it. I'm taking it we're negative on engaging the eldar?+

*Laurence sends out crews to salvage the cogitators, while byrne slowly brings the ship into position to take a pict scan.*

Charles: Jax, go find Chard in the barracks, tell him I sent you. He'll get you what you need.

Jax: *Nods.* "You'll not have any traitors to deal with." *walks off.*

Charles: you okay hera?

Hera: "I've never seen him like this."

Charles: hm... want me to keep an eye on him

Hera: "No... i suppose its how he normally is... I just remember him being... my dad."

Charles puts a hand on her shoulder

Hera: "its fine... He's just... not what i was expecting."

Charles: he'll be alright

Hera: "I feel like you're grabbing the wrong end of the stick here charles."

Charles: I'm not great at this

Hera: "put it this way, last time i saw him i was twelve. He was my dad. now he's a hardened soldier, bit of dissonance."

Charles: Right. Anyway, I think we should gather the others while laurence gets us that map.

Hera: "Aye aye." *She walks away from the bridge, hand tightly wrapped around the hilt of her sword.*

*Jax arrives at the barracks in search of Chard*

Max: But really I'm not good at telling stories. They always end in someone get brutally murdered...Has Akira told you I got her passed the guards of the upper hive?" *Grin*

Akira: "DONT YOU EVEN!"

Max: *clearly amused evil chuckle* "You see, the nobles of our home were not particularly nice people"

Charles waits for them to gather, and for laurence to get the map

Chard is the one with the greatcoat and cigar, polishing his boots

Akira: "I WILL SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE"

Jax: "Which one of you is Chard?"

*Laurence sends the map, and hera assembles the legionaries.*

Max: Long story short it was fucking hilarious and Akira has yet to forgive me for it *sip*

Chard: *looks up* Present.

Charles: alright ladies and gentlemen, guessing you want to know what's going on?

Jax: "The inquisitor told me to come see you, pretty vague about it to be honest, so give me the long and short of who you are and what you do around here."

Mac: "The slaughter's here..." *murmur's of agreement*
