They are worthless motherfuckers! i have more respect for the receptionist woman who stays in pretty much almost all weekend and eiher bores the hell out of her mind, or is assaulted by idiots...
whenever i go to the... studies department, i guess i could translate it roughly, i see them listening to the radio and solving sudoku or whatever... maybe only the system admins are even more worthless...

and iv heard that the story is largely unfinished in AOT... i dont like that in a good story

Meanwhile, on a landing pad above the city at the bottom of the ocean, a single lander touches down

"I fear for my soul" says a single voice, crying out in the dark.

A tall figure looms forward, heavy clanking footfalls following its presence.
"You don't need to fear anything... your fate has been sealed already my child" he says with a cold, painfully slow tone.

The child looks up at the creature, it's hideous form cloaked by the darkness; a small reprieve.
"You are a daemon"
"Yes" it says, through long, serrated teeth.
"But you don't want me dead" the child says, standing to face the creature of the dark.
"No; we are bonded... in ways even I cannot understand, where you go, I go; I see what you see"

The child contemplates this.
"And you don't want to hurt me?"
"Not so much... I can't hurt you..." it smiles at this, it's form chittering in the vale of shadow.

"And when I wake up... You are there?"

"My child... I have always been here" it says, stretching out its hand.

She takes it, light shattering the vale of darkness, and everything becomes the same.

"Sister... You must get up, we need you on the perimeter check" says her palatine, and she stands up with a groan, the ship making her nausea return to her.

"Yes palatine, the emperor protects" she says, picking up her bolt pistol.

A sister, wearing a thick camo cloak and a helmet goes to investigate the lander.

*A chimera catches the arbite on bike, whilst the general goes to the landing pad.*

The Sister turns, looking at the vehicle, and she immediately lowers her weapon.

*the general leaves the chimera at the landing pad, walking forward to greet the craft.

at the same time another chimera catches the arbite on the bike, carrying the nuke, placing itself in the road infront of him.*

"General Petra I believe?" She says, offering her hand of greeting.

The arbite brakes, activating the bullet screen on his bike, two boltguns popping out of the sides.
"I need you to move out of the way!"

OOC. ...welp... theoretically, i have created a solar powered spaceplane.... in practice, i have no idea if im incapable of getting it to orbit, or its not orbit capable...
i nearly did it once though... only problem was, i crossed the terminator, and lost sunlight just before achieving orbit...

The ramp of the lander comes down, and out steps several skitarii, wearing finely crafted brass and bronze armour of a design which non of anyone has seen before (Going full steam punk on this bitch) each one having a weird sort of back pack which appears to be realising steam every few seconds, each one has some sort of animal engraved onto there shoulder guards, some look like spiders, some look like scorpions, it varies.

*shakes hand*
"You are correct. May I have the pleasure of knowing your name?"

*The chimeras multi-laser turret swivels, firing shots into the bike, disabling it.*

The arbite dives, the canister harnessed onto his back. He pumps out a few shotgun slugs, and sprints behind cover.



The Sister nods, looking too the group of skitarri. "Its Joan" she says with a somewhat disheartened voice, the general noticing that this sister is quite young; and while being respectful, is quite set back from the conversation.

"You seem distracted..."


*The multilaser fires again, wrecking the cover and blowing off one of his legs*

"Fragging hell!" He shouts, cursing his luck. He rolls, blood trailing the stump as he takes out his pistol.
"Armour piercing, punch round!" He orders it, the pistols machine spirit thumming to life, and with a burst of energy; he bolts up, aiming it with impeccable timing, the bullet screaming into the tank; hitting the chimeras ammo reserves, starting a blazing inferno within the APC.


"Just bad dreams, havn't been getting much sleep recently"

*the passenger area ignites, killing all inside as the driver and soldier riding shotgun jumps out, the soldier pumping auto shots into the crawling arbite.*



"I see... I see. I would like to say you should go get some... but I can't do that... no one can afford to not be on the frontlines at the moment. No soldiers, anyways."

After the group have skitarii have dispersed, 2 figures which quite stand out from the group appear from inside the lander, one, a techpriest of mars, wielding a power axe with a servo harness on, and the other, a strange looking figure, more machine than man, with 3 spindlely spiderlike legs instead of 2, all of them mechanical, wielding a halberd with 2 of his hands, it would also appear he has had a extra set of arms grafted onto him, which are wielding some strange weaponry which no one can quite comprehend. the techpriest and the other figure are talking to eachother in binary

"You are well aware that we are begin watched right now"

"I am indeed. But we can not slow down, the objective is within our grasp.."

With that the lander flys back into space

The arbite stays calm, firing at one with cold accuracy, the soldiers neck exploding from a frag round, as the other is sprayed with blood; he pulls the trigger, sending the driver flying as a high power slug slams into his chest.



The Sister turns, making the sign of the aquilla in respect.
"May you introduce yourselves?"

*landing, the driver grimaces in pain. it seems a large hole is in his chest, and he will die soon... but he stands, pulling out a pistol, hitting the arbite in the neck with a precise shot. He then dives behind a wall*


*The general also turns*

"Ahh, reinforcments?"

"Negative" Says the techpriest in a monotone machine voice

"Well, nevertheless, I am General Koren Petra, commander of the imperial forces here. May I know who you are?"

"No, you may not, We are here pursuing the mechanicums interests on this world and you best stay out of my way"

"You best stay out of mine if you are to be like that then. Good day."

*turns to go*
