Amo: Well, you two can have a nice chat between women and work it out. Im gonna go and prep some things. After all, wouldnt want my assistant to meet an untimely end and not be able to carry on....

after he leaves the queen just pans her gaze over to Cyra and after a moment of silence she talks
"we've learned. your flesh isn't beyond us. we hurt you."
a passing ripper snaps its jaw at her before continuing on its way

*after a day or so? Well, at any rate, after preparing a soulbeacon and all the necessary stuff in case his voluptuous assistant got brutally murdered and/or omnommed, and doing some other....more shady stuff.... he returns to check on the new addition to his faithful minions....*

The pool appears empty while rippers swarm to and fro, taking biomass and expanding the hive grounds. Little veins of certain makes spread across the ground as several nest beds have arisen. Some of them seem to be gestating for now. There's a big cloud of green vapor a ways from the pool too

*starts waltzing around, checking things out, and looking for queeny...*

Aside from the nests, little capillary towers have sprouted, appearing to grow differently from the other structures. He feels her presence in his mind again, and it's from the pool? It appears she just noticed him personally

*takes another look at the pool... did she digest herself or something, he wonders*

The pool churns as something big moves within it. Apparently it's depth has increased dramatically as a creature bigger than a trygon lifts itself partially out of the pool. Seems the norn queen has reverted to her more normal form

Amo: Oh.... I see you did some upgrades

Amo: Well...uhm.-... nice armor plating, i guess? Not sure how to react.

"you came for knowledge. knowledge on progress. progress slower than normal. but still progress. main hive structure growing"

Amo: very.... perceptive of you. What is the cause for "slower than usual"?

"ground more durable than normal. harder to excavate. rippers especially"

Amo. oh, this insistence on burrowing, i see.... hmmmm... lets see.....
*he seems to be deep in thought....*

she takes this moment to fully climb out of the pool. coiling her tail up under her in a fashion akin to sitting as she waits for him

*he takes out a dozen or so of his amulets, tosses them in a pile on the ground, and aims his pistol at said pile*
Amo: Tutamen Instrumentum Terra. Instrumentum Perfodio Fabrico. Tutamen Terra Alienis.
*he fires the gun at the pile, and the amulets light up with glowing lines. He the picks them up.*
Amo: So, the good news is, these can make the wearer cut through the earth like genestealer claws through terminator armor, protect against cave-ins, and somewhat help in construction. The bad news is, the user has to wear them, and their effect is activated with will. So, either the user has to have will, or you have to channel yours. Whichever is easier...

"rippers are recipients. will modify carapace. make slot"
the rippers from around the hive start streaming to the pool as she reviews each of them to plan for necessary adjustments

Amo: well, i can make only so many without actually starting mass production, so put them to use where it counts.

she tentatively picks up on of the amulets, sizing it up before handing it to a ripper to hold by it's teeth
"use claws to dig. regurgitate biomass. structure grows. will this do?"

Amo: .....uhm....... I do not think I got the meaning of that perfectly.... but the amulets should work if they are physically connected to the body of the user. as for the whole "regurgitate biomass" and "structure grows" thing... I dont know, thats your area of expertise...

"connected... Ripper mouths viable?"

Amo: well..... anywhere is viable as far as I can tell. they could even swallow them, but I guess they have quite the potent stomach acid...

"then mutation is uncalled for"
the swarm disperses from the pool's edge, with a few of the ripper coming over and picking up the amulets before heading off
"amulets for excavation yes? can pass around as duty shifts"

Amo: yeah, pretty much. On the other hand, would it not be more efficient to give them to some larger thing doing the excavation work? Oh, by the way, how is that extra body coming along?

"ravenors bioforms still developing. extra body?"

Amo: you know, the infiltrator form I told you about?

"that form. the warp creature. said she was used for infiltrating. acquiring resources. form like hers?"

OOC: Wow, in civ 6 you cant raze a city after annexing it... so basically, you have to decide blind.... And once you click on the "choose what to do" thing, you cant go back either to at least check what its surroundings are actually like either.....

Amo: kind of. She can shapeshift pretty much at will, but generally she is pretty close. If you use the human or eldar anatomy as a base, and do not stray overly far from it, it should do. I can help cover up things like chitin plating and such if you add those.

he hears her colossal form huff with a measure of annoyance
"yes. those forms. this one will... experiment"

Amo: yeah, I see you are not highly amused by the idea, but consider this: Would it not be the most efficient thing to do, to not sacrifice any biomass while walking around almost entirely freely in enemy territory and achieving whatever goals without anyone noticing? You just get a permit to pass, and can walk up to a governor without a hitch. Normally, you would need half a hive fleet, or 200 years of genestealer infiltration to do it...

"brood needs to identify competent leader. history shows governor incompetence. point understood. will experiment."
she shifts her gaze to the pool. and though she just stares he gets the distinct impression she can see the genes stirring in it

Amo: well, the point was the security, not the value, but if you got it, fine.

as she stares into the pool there's the nest bed that she made the other day. all the cavities in it's surface have been replaced by by lids, and it seems production has begun on the more mass-able bioforms

Amo: Well, If I am distracting you from the whole building process, I shall depart for now.

*with that, he departs.*

*well, one appropriately long time skip later, Amo has prepared several things which are now ready for transport. He then takes some of his usual trinkets, and heads back to queeny*

"you come. we think we're ready. two made for this purpose. await judgement"
two forms stand beside her, one more tyranid then the other, the more tyranid one looks like a cross between a genestealer and warrior, with the crown and cranium of the warrior cut down so it's head became less of the overall image. its upper limbs sport rending claws and its lower limbs sport hands. the feet aren't the usual hoof but the feet of a genestealer for better or worse. the tail is shorter but still there and the torso is the usual rib-cage design.
the less tyranid is disturbing looking like a converted eldar, a female eldar at that. her skin is pale and her eyes are the usual tyranid ones. she sports a crown that just curves over her skull with her hair being tendrils. she only sports two arms with an armored gauntlet look for her hands and some plating over her upper arm. the plating on her torso is thinner over her belly and thicker over her breast mimics. the breasts for those bothering with that detail aren't big but it's not flat, that's all that will be covered in this intro. her legs are plated on the outer section with less on the inner thigh. her feet however sport the clawed toes of genestealers

Amo: ........oh..... *massages forehead with fingers* ........what were you discussing with Cyra once I was gone..... *sigh*..... Nevermind, it can be covered up... Okay, that one *points at warrior* is for combat without demolishing all the doorways with just moving through, yes? And this one *points at other* ..... Well, looks neat anyway.... And that is pretty much the purpose. I got that right?

Amo: yes, the form will do for infiltration purposes. Slutty as all hell, but t fulfils its function. As long as you do not alter the outside too much, make it so heavy that it starts cracking the floor underneath, or make it have immense psychic powers, it should fool pretty much any observers likely to encounter it. The warrior, seems fine to me. As long as it fits inside human or eldar structures, it should be a fine addition of functionality between the infiltrator and the current form.

if her translation didn't make it clear how opposed she is to the idea of her true form fighting is definitely clear through her powerful presence
