A slightly smaller Mess

Webber: "To study the ruins found here... I was... sponsored."

Mac: "Uhuh... Well. I'm here. You wanna get to know me do you?"

Max: "Alright" *smile* "I'll see you later?"

akira: "Yeah, yeah you will" *she leans over and kisses him*

Max: *He kisses her back and lays back under the covers*

*Akira leaves, and dims the lights down to a gentle glow as she leaves*

Max: *Eventually heads to sleep*

*Akira goes to the bridge, and looks at the helmsman.* "Bring us back to port."

"(Sponsored? I suppose it has something to do with the stencil writing on the side of your vehicle?)"

Webber: "No... no... thats... Official Department of archeology stuff... I was sponsored by the inquisition."

Helmsman: "At once ma'am" *He lets out a string of orders and Akira feels the warship turn to port before accelerating into the warp* "Approximately 2 weeks till we arrive ma'am"

Webber can notice the guards exchange glances between each other, but their unmoving faces hide their emotions. Khamenes speaks up again after a moment, "(Have you any prior experience with our... culture? As our wraith has recorded, you've exclaimed how it was the first one you saw active in the field before it promptly phased into your transport.)"

Akira: "Thankyou. That will be all." *she turns and leaves the bridge, heading for her and max's house, buried deep in the ship*

Webber: "I know the structure... The Silent king, Pharerons... And some of the dynasties. The heirarchy, warriors, immortals, lords... The Hyroglyphs were incomplete and my grasp of your language is... poor."

*It's right where she left it, hidden deep in the heart of the ship behind a discreet bulkhead*

"(Hmm, what do you know of this planet?)"
There is some tension in the air as he asks this question.

Webber: "I know that you were here before. You built structures, left Cano-p-tek constructs. There were references to something important... but. I could never tell what it was."

*she sits down at the table, alone, and drinks a cup of tea before she goes to their bedroom. She lays between the sheets, alone for the first time in weeks, closes her eyes, and tries to sleep.*

*Sleep reaches Akira quickly, and soon she is consumed by all manners of dreams and nightmares.Some are good, and peaceful. Others are bad, filled with hate and sadness. During one particular nightmare she sees demons of all kinds picking away at Max, some she recognises: pride, envy, desire, and despair, but now she could see a new one: Rage. She watched as it practically burst forth from despair and began to dominate Max's mind. She could feel a lust for revenge, his desire to tear the universe asunder in search of the daemon who killed his children*

OOC sudden profile change is sudden

IC Khamenes looks back to his guard before walking through them to the command terminal, the guard forming up as a visual obstruction while he taps away.

OOC: Felt like changing it

Captain: that would be Marshal Guderian. He's in the command bunker.

*Webber stands there slightly awkwardly, wringing his hands together*

*Akira finds herself falling into the same pit of feelings, rage, anger, desire for revenge.*

Mac: "Uhuh... Well. I'm here. You wanna get to know me do you?"

After a minute or two Khamenes turns on a holographic projection of Georheim and turns back to Webber, passing through his guards again, "(I trust you wouldn't mind comparing maps together, correct?)"

Webber: "My maps are back in my snow cat." *looking over his shoulder and pointing back the way he came with his thumb*

"(But of course, the immortal from earlier will escort you to and fro for now.)"
On queue the immortal that dragged him through the cruiser enter the bridge and stands next to him

Caiber: if you'd be so kind.

Mac: "What do you wanna know?"

Webber: "Oh... uh, thankyou!" *he looks at the immortal.* "Uh... back to the snowcat... please?"

"Well, who the fuck you are would be a nice start. All I can tell is you're a tough looking bald guy with a shotgun fetish."

Mac: "Number one. Don't fuck with me xeno. or you'll quickly find one of them in your mouth, understand?"

Caiber: thought as much.

Mac: "As for who i am... Lieutenant David Macmillan, Cadian 27th. Well, i was once upon a time." *he waves a half hearted salute when he says cadian.*

caiber offers his hand to shake.
"Primus Seetoh Caiber, Primarily military commander of the cult of the orphaned child. Like you, was, once upon a time. It's...complicated."

Mac: "Mine aint. Shot a commissar." *he chuckles to himself* "Right, fuckin, here." *he taps his temple once with each word to emphasise*

Caiber: Not bad. Not quite a ...'Jarl' I think those those hairy gits in power armour called him *grins* But not bad.

Mac: "What?" *Looks at him half confused, half not caring.*

"Big hairy bastard. Light blue power armour. Old. Giant axe with blue runes on it."

Mac: "Your telling me... that you killed a space wolf."

"I killed more than one. That one looked to be their leader is all."

"Fuck off. You and what army?"

"Oh I had quite a large army... but it does help that this *draws his bonesword* and this *shows off his rending claw* Make power armour about as effective as paper"

"If you're trying to impress me, its not working."

"If I was, then I'd be embellishing."

Mac: "Telling me you killed astartes, just makes me want to kill you, got it?"

"Those astartes killed a lot of innocents, you realise."

Mac: "No such thing as innocent, just degrees of guilt."

"Spoken like animated propaganda."

Mac: "Spoken like a pious man."

"Right... *sighs and sits back* Look, I'll admit this much. The cause I followed back then was wrong. Far more wrong than I could possibly have known. And too many people I cared about died because of our successes.....but that doesn't make those we fought against right."

Mac: *looks at him dead in the eyes* "I'd burn an entire planet without blinking to stop a tyranid fleet."

*meets his gaze* "and I'd do the damn same."
