OOC: Is it just me or has no one picked up on Calton's constant use of....less than kind descriptions of Turians? Just about every time he's talked about them he hasn't used the proper name of their species.

IC Celi: everyone needs to make a living, and killing things is the thing most people are skilled at out here. plus diversity gives us tactical options

Celi: every species has their strengths, and weaknesses. Salarians are smart, so we use them as planners. Turians, krogan and batarians are good frontline troops, same with vorcha. Quarians like us are good engineers, ect ect. combining them gives us strength in all fields of war.

Calton: Vorcha? How did you get Vorcha of all species to work with you so readily?

Celi: good pay and racial tolerance

Celi: yeah. to be honest it's not much better than how Quarians are treated in most places.

Celi: careful of the debris. had a bit of a skirmish with CAT6 last week. still haven't finished cleaning up.

Calton: CAT6?

Celi: *chuckles* you really haven't been out here long have you? they're a human merc group, all ex-alliance. the name comes from 'category six', meaning Dishonourable discharge from the alliance military. they're known for their members having a history of criminal records and steroid abuse.

Calton: The Alliance genemods its troops and they don't expect some to go overboard with such things?

Celi: I dunno, probably. these guys are harder to fight than most though, what with them all having standard military training and organisation. most of 'em use combat drones too

Calton: So despite being dishonorably discharged they're still some of the most competent mercenaries around.

jakaar: nice to meet you serris we should spare sometime so i could practice faster targets and you can practice heavy

Celi: yep. also at least one in five has one of these it seems *she picks up an M-99 Sabre from one of the bodies* where the hell they get so many of a gun that has to be custom made for the user is beyond me.
