Cyra: "No, i expected you to not cooperate for... at least an hour of talking... or agree this quickly, but be broken. Obviously i agreed to save your mind, should you start falling."

Elise: Cooperate with what? I agreed to nothing, as far as I can recall...

Cyra: "no, but you've not been exactly... confrontational, have you dear?"

Elise: Is there a point? I realise when i am so far outgunned that open hostility would result in instant defeat....

Cyra: "True enough. Still, courageous of you to come even so."

Elise: at this point, i estimate there to be a far too great chance of running into your machinachions anyway

Cyra: "Fate, if you believe in such a thing."

Elise: in this world of ours? nothing but fate.... as to why, is beyond me...

Cyra: "It could also be your instincts as an inquisitor, subtly leading you to where you can do the most good."

Elise: that would imply that my instincts say you are a threat...

Cyra: "Or the opposite?"

Elise: That I should get married to you instantly?

Cyra: "I'm fairly sure marriage is at least a fourth date thing. And i was thinking, that i am a benefit, as opposed to a threat."

Elise: Well, that would be a first... And if it is an exceptionally useful thing, i would rather assume it is a trap...

Cyra: "Is saving the galaxy exceptionally useful?" 

Elise: No, the non-betraying type of assistance from a powerful demon is

Cyra: "i'm not your average daemon."

Elise: How so?

Cyra: "I serve no god. I am my own woman, you could say."

Elise: and just how has that come to be the case...?

Cyra: "interesting story actually."

Elise: Oh, pray tell... I wonder how a demon can get unbound from its god...

Cyra: "With the help of an eldar blank."

Elise: ...that already sounds unlikely on multiple levels...

Cyra: "Our little menagerie also included a Daemon engine of khorne, freed from servitude like i am, a daemon prince of chaos undivided, and later on, other interesting characters."

Elise: .....your story seems more and more removed from reality by the sentence...

Cyra: "Most of it took place in the warp, so that seems rather apt."

Elise: right... and how did you get removed from your god again...?

Cyra: "I met the eldar, while attacking one of their craftworlds, Specifically ulthwe, have you heard of it?"

Elise: Of course I have...

Cyra: *smiles* "During said attack, i was shot by a shuriken catapult, rather a lot, then had my head bashed in with a book... By the librarian. Not my finest moment."

Elise: So i imagine...

Cyra: "Then, from the portal we had used to enter, An eldar blank, and a daemon came through. The banshee's we had been fighting were... confused, suffice to say, as the daemon prince proceeded to slaughter my sisters completely."

Elise: ........I fail to see how that leads to this situation...

Cyra: "I was sure i wouldn't survive, so to save some face, while the eldar talked to the banshees, reassuring them of the eight foot tall armoured daemon prince of chaos among them, i laughed. It came out rather quiet, and with a bit of a gurgle of blood, a shuriken in my lung, you see. But it got the eldar's attention."

Elise: Startled, i imagine?

Cyra: "Contemptuous, more like. He used sorcery, bound in objects, talismans and the like. Healed my wounds, then... Severed my connection to slaanesh. I don't know how, i don't know why. But in his presence i am like you are to me, i know better than to question too much."

Elise: HAH! You got served by the one your god wants to eat the soul of?

Cyra: "The irony is palpable i know. But then again, no soul."

Elise: So, what then?

Cyra: "I followed him around for a while, we came across a the khornate daemon engine, and the eldar decided to experiment on a grey knight."

Elise: .....say what?

Cyra: "A grey knight, he wanted to test their supposed invulnerability to the warp. You've met him, i do believe."

Elise: ...........you mean to tell me...

Cyra: "Go on... I do believe you've got it."

Elise: ......that he dumped a grey knight into the warp?

Cyra: "Thats the jist. The prince found it distasteful however."

Elise: How so?

Cyra: "Well, he seemed rather in touch with his humanity. Perhaps a great human warrior reminded him of himself."

Elise: ....oh, im sure...

Cyra: "In any case... a few misadventures later, we arrived at the moat of blood, around khorne's citadel."
