Of Beasts and Knights

Vorstan: *he squeezes her shoulder gently* 

Thorgar: "No. Heigen will have that honour. I like my women willing, he is the opposite."

Zyleena: *Shrug* "It takes more skill and strength to hurl a spear or an axe*

Rosa leans into him

she spits again

Catherine: and less effective.

Zyleena: "Hmmm... Bows are indeed strong weapons." 

Thorgar: "Thus begins your hour." 

*Point of view swap* 

*As heigen walks out, he stands at the lip of the cave, and listens*

Catherine: obviously.

*screaming*

Heigen: "Hah. Slaaneshi freak." *he jumps into the water* 

Zyleena: "I think my father had one. I never used it." 

*vorstan sits with her as the sun comes up, not saying a word.*

*skip with that i suppose*

Catherine: right.

Before long Vorsten sees that Rosa is asleep on his side.

*Heigen returns an hour later, dripping from his "Swim" By which i mean walking across a lake bed, getting so angry he refuses to die, then hacking up two full lungfuls of water on the other side* 

Zyleena: "Do you have one?" 

Vorstan: *He smiles, picks up his helmet, and puts it back on. then leans his head on the tree trunk*

*guessing more screaming*

Catherine: not anymore.

*sleepy time?*

*more screaming... then thorgar hears heigen's heavy footsteps* 

Thorgar: "Hour's over..." 

Zyleena: "Lets go find one. It might be fun." 

*He closes his eyes.*

*how is the priestess?*

Catherine:...alright.

*aaaand sleep*

*The priestess is liberally covered in symbols of chaos, heigen can see evidence of far more cruel tortures, a small fire has been started, a few of her teeth and nails have been dropped on the floor*

*sleepy times*

Zyleena: "You can teach me."

she's whimpering in her bindings, but has not yet given in

*skip?*

Catherine:..what?

Thorgar: "Someone's come back for you priestess." 

*skip*

Zyleena: "I don't know how to use a bow, you do."

one of her eyes slowly opens

*later on...*

Catherine:... yes...

*Vorstan is sleepy*

Heigen walks over to her, standing over her

Zyleena: "So teach me."

*rosa too*

she tries to curse, but it's rather difficult right now

Catherine: why?

Zyleena: "Because, it sounds interesting."

Vorstan: "....What.... How long did we sleep?" *Looks up at the sun*

Thorgar: "Last chance before..."

Catherine:... really? *doubtful*

*rosa still is asleep*

she spits again

Zyleena: "I've never used one before."

Thorgar: "Heigen, make free." *he turns to leave the shrine*

Heigen: "heh heh heh...."

Catherine:...alright.

the woman begins to struggle harder

*Vorstan lets her sleep, picking up the book next to him, laying it in his lap, and flipping through it with his free arm*

*Thorgar looks up at the sun from the mouth of the cave, and says a quick prayer, trying not to listen to the sounds of the priestess's violation* "My followers are truly some vile people."

Rosa stirs a little

Morkar: *stood next to him* You care about woman?

Thorgar: "She's still a human." 

*Vorstan finds himself smiling* 

Zyleena: "There will be bows in the towers."

Morkar: Then why you do this to her?

Rosa hasn't woken up yet, she's just getting more comfortable on him.

Catherine: lead the way then.

Thorgar: "Because war is war." 

Vorstan keeps reading, and rubs her shoulder a bit.

Zyleena: *Walks off towards the towers*

Morkar: hm. what about the girl? The empire one? You care what happens to her?

she, still sleeping, snuggles a bit into vorstan's side

catherine follows her

Thorgar: "Which? the slave, or the one who took my offer?"

Vorstan: "...What's going on...?" *he murmurs to himself* 

*When they reach the tower, she just climbs straight up the wall, and walks in the wall door*

Morkar: slave. The one who took offer is kislevi.

*she settles down again*

Catherine continues to follow

Thorgar: "Both empire... She is blessed by the gods. They see something in the girl." 

*Zyleena appears a few seconds later with two bows and a bundle of arrows.* 

Vorstan: "...No answer? Greaaaaat."

Morkar: not quite what I ask.

Catherine takes the bow and examines it

after a few minutes more rosa starts to wake

Thorgar: "She is a part of my warband. If someone tortured her i'd kill them."

*'s a frenchie bow*

Vorstan lets her wake at her own pace

Morkar: hm. Your chosen cares about her. The tzeentchian. Those two make good partners.

*any good?*

Rosa: *yawns* oh...hey

Thorgar: "What? Vorstan? Huh."

*Pretty standard, seems well taken care of though*

Vorstan: "Good morning."

Morkar: mm. Taken a liking to her.

Catherine: not bad.

Rosa: how long was..I out?

Thorgar: *shrug* "Never saw him as the type. Too stuck into books" 

Zyleena: "Probably the best they have in a town like this."

Vorstan: "You mean sleeping?" *looks up at the sun.* "About four hours."

Morkar chuckles. "what of the other girl?"

Catherine: you're not wrong.

Rosa: huh. Thought It was longer.

Thorgar: "If zyleena hasn't killed her yet." 

Zyleena: "So... how do you...." *she holds the bow, and is about to pull the string back with a claw. then pauses.* "Hmn..." 

Vorstan: "Felt like a while."

Morkar: if.

Catherine: might be a problem.

Rosa: yeah... was nice.

Vorstan: "I like watching sunrises." 

Zyleena: *She focuses on the claws of her fore and middle fingers for a bit, staring at them* "Okay, that'll be fine." *she twangs the string, and it isn't sheared immidiately* 

Thorgar: "She might."

Rosa: yeah... it looks pretty

Catherine: right. Let's find somewhere.

Morkar: and if not?

Vorstan: "...." 

Thorgar: "Then she's probably been raped and killed in a back alley, and i have some disciplining to do." 

Zyleena: "Hmmmm..."

Rosa: yeah.... sometimes that actually cheered me up. After the beasts caught me. Would help calm me down in the evenings. the ones where they weren't just dragging me around, where i could actually just sit down and rest.

Morkar: *sighs* No. I ask what happen to her if she not been killed? What you do with her?

Catherine: is there anywhere?

Zyleena: "I don't know. You've been here longer than me."

Thorgar: "She's a mage, so i'll give her to one of my sorcerers to train." 

Vorstan: *he nods slowly* "They helped me when i crossed the ocean. So long as the sun rose in front of me, and set behind, i knew i would reach my destination."

Catherine: I didn't go looking for a good place for this.

Morkar nods. 

Rosa: yeah... that works

*Vorstan squeezes her shoulder* "You don't need to think about what they did to you anymore." 

Thorgar: "She felt powerful." 

Zyleena: "Hm... what were you doing here?"

Rosa:...I can't help it sometimes. I see it in my sleep.

Morkar: very.

Catherine: Just staying. Was heading further south.

Vorstan: "...." *angry chaos warrior.* 

Thorgar: "A useful asset if i can control her."

Zyleena: *she raps her claws on the tower wall.* "Going anywhere specific?"

Rosa's gone kinda quiet

Morkar nods quietly.

Catherine: maybe.

Zyleena: *She digs her claws into the mortar between stones and steps off the ground.* "Do you want to tell me cheri?" 

Vorstan: "If any of them touch you again, i'll take their hands." 

Thorgar: "Its gone quiet."

Rosa looks up at him, surprised

Catherine: not particularly.

Morkar: hm.

Zyleena: "Aw, thats no fun." *She scales the tower wall quickly, little bits of mortar dust floating down in her wake* "There is targets at the barracks cheri!" 

Vorstan: *looking off into the distance*

Thorgar: "He might be done, or she might have broken."
