Ooc. ....hm.... Remember that group project i told you guys about? The VIP protection where i supposedly went a wee bit overboard?
Yeah, well now i did the transport convoy bit of it... Apparently, 3 armored sedans(2 decoy, 1 real), escorted by 6 APCs(the civilian kind) and filled with armed guards, strolling down the capital was also a bit overboard... Aaand...police cordon moving along with the convoy...
I mean its not like i did main battle tank and gunship escorts... I didnt even have the sewer plates welded down like bush did when he was here... I didnt even put snipers on every roof either...

He licked his lips as he made his way to the rooftops, if the optics on this taus helmet could narrow, he would look like a cartoon villain.

Trouble with these suits are, they are very top heavy and in such a case that the victim was sealed inside, there was an emergency over-ride located outside the armour.

He grabbed the back of the thrusterpack, bringing the stealth suited tau to the ground, there was the mechanical sounds of alert from the user.
Quickly he pulled the switch and the stealth suit opened up.

"'Ello lovely." BAM.

A good four minutes of cleaning half vapourised brain later, he slipped on his new suit.

"What did people need melta bombs for here?"

"Remember why my parents were killed? We sold weapons to rebels"

"Ohhh... I don't think you mentioned the rebels."

well this hallway's fairly good, though that piece of metal of the floor almost doesn't belong there given there aren't any holes in the floor, walls, or ceiling ahead of them (and several meters behind them)

"The Tau didn't approve of us selling weapons in the first place, but when they traced several loads of heavy weapons to my father and I. Well they shut us down.....permanently"

*Looks at the metal*
"That looks a tad conspicuous"

"Cirtainly does" *she throws a rock at it*

the rock tangs off the metal, which further solidifies how odd it's just there

"....maybe it fell during the battle"
*he walks over to it and squats next to the sheet*

still nothing, if I could break reality I'd probably give it a kawaii face and maybe have it say hi. but no this is reality and it's still a sheet of metal in the middle of a rather undamaged hallway

congratulations that'll be 1 sanity point, cash or credit? either way up ahead is a split off with the choice of left or right, and a number of meters before the turn

IC as he stands he accidentally kicks it forward. then there's a very split second high pitched "WRYYYY" before the entire corridor detonates, blowing an entire section of wall off right in front of them

OOC also it's still usable, just an entire setion of wall in now all over the floor

*steps back*

Arno hopped his way rooftop to roof top, being as sneaky as he could.
He knew he had to take this suit to a chop shop as soon as possible, this suit was fine by it's self, it'd sell for a pretty penny, but it'd sell ALOT better in it's individual parts, burst cannon was easy, power armour for lifting shit around or for doing whatever in it, the Taus comms however would sell a feth ton more.
That's when he heard an explosion.

Oh, someone was vault hunting again.
...Maybe someone would find something this time.

OOC to be clear, it set off an explosive in the wall, it itself is still fine and didn't explode

*she walks over to the junction, and looks both ways* "Turns out, metal plate means, trigger for an IED"

"Good to know, now let's move on before that explosion attracts something worse than a few lowlifes"
*He walks upto and past Akira, dragging her down the right path*

"Right it is then, wonder what kind of weapons they had stashed here.."

"Hopefully some that are valuable"

*she draws her pistol* "hopefully" *and walks down the corridor*

"Why do you keep drawing it? Can't you just keep it in your hand instead of holstering it constantly"

"For when I need both hands? To say climb up rubble?"

they hear an explosion in another part of the spire. the structure doesn't react so it must've been another trap some poor sod set off

"Then put it away when you have to, and I do believe we should hurry up"

"Let's go then" *she quickens her pace to a slow jog, still looking for traps*

*He keeps pace with her*

they come across another long hallway that has doors going all along one side, most likely one of the gang quarters. the hallway goes quite a ways in both direction but the left actually continues while the right abruptly stops, though it does have a sort of hole in it's center

*looking at the hole* "what the fuck is that?"

"I don't bloody know, wanna go find out?"

as they step into the center of the hallway the hole has a faint blue light grow inside it

*akira raises her pistol and shuffles forwards*

"........please don't be something plasma related"

but lo the light only grows sharper as something is powering up
