Alaric: My plan...My plan is to follow. We people of the mountains have always been close to our Thengul kin, but we are Brigardi at heart and in spirit. I have little choice but to follow Albrecht. Mugin, I called you here to give you a chance. A chance to run before it's to late. Take your clan and go south, away from the conflict. Albrecht isn't going to let anyone or anything stop him, and he'll do whatever he has to ensure our people's survival. I...I wish it hadn't come to this, but if his predictions are true..we have little choice.

Joachim: Well, what now? They're entrenched.

Joachim: Then start with their boats. Cut off their means of escape.

Joachim: And if you let them have a means of escape they'll just come back. How about this, burn all but one boat. When they make a made rush for it, we butcher them like the swine they are.

Joachim: A simple illusion of fire and smoke and frightening armor and props. Of course, I say this all as a suggestion and nothing more I mean, we're not dealing with weak willed Dracians who piss themselves at the sight of a few guards frozen at their posts.

Joachim: Never mind that. How about something simpler? Make it so that they die no matter what. Set the area in front of their barricades ablaze, and then burn their ships. Either way, they die.

Alaric: If we are fortunate enough to meet again in better times. I fear that "better times" will not be seen by either of us. What Albrecht intends....It will embroil the whole continent in war. The loss of life will be immense, and there will be no winners in what is to come, Mugin, only survivors. Only those who lived through the cold and the butchery.

Mako: do it

Joachim: Have men coat the area in front of the barricade with flammable things, pitch, alcohol, oil, whatever will burn. Have the archers target the ships and the barricades once the area in front of the entrenchment is ablaze.

in side the berricade the thengul have been moving the balubles onto their ships prepairing to leave with their loot and captives.

Joachim: It's a fact. The Thengul will kill them for sport or they'll sell them to the Kelthrovi. If we train and mount a rescue, then the raiders will likely escape with most of their plunder.

Joachim: If you want to throw your life away, that's your choice, but my men and I are not going to risk our lives for those who are already dead.

Mako: Would you rather I let them die?!

Joachim: I'd rather they die quickly then become the sport of savages and slavers!

"And I'd rather they live!!"

Joachim: And how many of your people would have to die to save a few fishermen?

Joachim: And you're throwing your life away! For what!? To be remembered as a hero? Who's going to remember you if you just pointlessly throw your life into the flames?

*He just moves back to his men, grabs a musket from one of the line infantry, and returns.*

Joachim: Why are you so damn set on this!? You'd die before you even got close to their ships! If I were to shoot you now, it would be mercy compared to what the Thengul will do you!

"I cant just let them die! We have to do something, they've done nothing to deserve such a fate!"

Joachim: There are plenty of people who suffer such fates yet don't deserve their suffering. Stop trying to be a hero. You can't save everyone.

"Is there nothing we can do? Nothing to save them?"

Joachim: There are no solutions that I can see that doesn't cost more lives then they save.

Joachim: If they must die let them die in their homeland, and not some as some Kelthrovi fatman's property.
