"There's some underground tunnels that lead there. They're dangerous, but it's an option."

"Right"

"or we sneak overground, where we're more likely to be intercepted"

"And if we're caught it'll be far easier to capture us"

"Underground"

"Right. We rest, then we do that."

*nods*
"Got it"

"Questions?"

"Any idea on what's underground"

"Less than I'd like."

"Worth using shotguns?"

the kreiger pauses. then stands up, walking towards some of the munitions

*Gideon watches*

he grabs a shotgun and hands it to gideon
"Look after this. Or else."

*he nods and takes it*

"Semi automatic. Got a hell of a kick, but packs a hell of a punch. Belonged to a friend of mine."

"Got it"

"Now get some rest."

*He does, after setting up the sleeping bag out of sight of the entrance*

the kreiger goes to stand on watch. The knight is asleep before he sees the kreiger do so.

*The next day*

erwin's already awake and has already eaten

*Gideon wakes up and eats*

"You alright?"

*quiet nod*

"Good

"I assume you're rested"

"Good. We move soon."

*He nods and gets to readying his equipment*

he sees the kreiger's stuff's already ready, including a large tube like thing strapped to the side of their pack

*Gestures to the launcher*

*after the flashbangs detonate, kerak rounds the corner. Seven foot and two hundred kilos of straining avian muscle and creamite plate. Armed with two crude looking, wickedly hooked and visciously sharp blades. He decends upon the disoriented and shrapnel wounded foe.*

*The blinded men fall like wheat to the scythe, their shouts and screams being silenced with inhuman swiftness. A second or two after Kerak rushes the defenders Max turns the corner and begins advancing, gunning down the men and women at the far end of the bridge and giving Kerak the covering fire he needs to advance*

Erwin finishes preparing gear

he stands up and walks out, walking through the old abandoned factory for a while before he comes to an old, worn, heavy duty door in a rock face
