Madara: There is one thing I need to ask you about first. The Dracians.

Mordred: What of them?

ket: "Hm... we have enough supplies in the city to last a three month seige... more if we begin rationing now."

Semi-IC: That voice in Kets head: Get rid of the populace and you'll have enough food to last several years...

Ket: ~SILENCE VOICE IN MY HEAD, I'm trying to make the dracian's think im not batshit insane~

Trajan: and if we hold out long enough, Agrippa will be able to lift the siege.

Madara: I cannot risk a two front war, Mordred.

Semi-IC: That voice: You know I'm right....water is a problem though. The enemy will be able to poison or just block your water supplies. The siege would end in a matter of days.

Mordred: Neither can I, with my Uncle in Kelthro there is nobody to argue against a surprise attack against either of us. The one thing stopping them is the fact that these invaders seem hell bent on destroying anything and everything to do with Dracia. That fact alone is all that protects us, the Dracians hopefully won't risk losing men and resources in a pointless war with us when they'll soon have the enemy at their gates

Madara: You trust your uncle less than I expected.

Mordred: I don't trust their Senate or the other Consul

Madara: But Trajan you do trust? *sip* Perhaps we can use him to make sure the dracians do not stab us in the back.

Mordred: He knows of our alliance, they cannot move to attack either of us while he lives.

Madara: *eyebrow raise* You speak as if you think his life is in danger.

Mordred: Cymrai and Dracia have rarely seen eye to eye. We've only been at peace for barely 30 years. I still believe there to be a large anti-Cymraic sentiment within their government. The only person who has prevented another war is Trajan. If he dies I would expect a surprise attack within days. *sip*

Madara: and you think his death is a possibility?

Mordred: Yes

Madara:...then perhaps we should do something about that?

Mordred: There is not much we can do. He is surrounded by thousands of loyal soldiers, in the city of Stracia. There is no safer place for him. That and he has a Clavae as his personal bodyguard. Amusingly enough that particular Clavae rather likes him. I doubt she'd let anything touch him

Madara: she?!

Ket: "I will attempt to parley with my cousin... I don't expect it to go well."

Trajan: need me to send anyone?

Ket: "As much of a literal bastard my cousin is, he wont attack me. However, a representative of dracia would be useful."

Trajan: best I'm there in person.

Ket: "Endangering both of our commanders? Our seconds are capable, but they're no politicians."

Trajan: exactly. I'll bring LI. That'll remove the risk.

Mordred: She.

Madara:...I didn't even think them human.

Ket: "I'll ensure the meeting is in neutral ground."

Mordred: They're human alright, but tougher and stronger

Trajan: good.

Madara is a tad speechless

ket: *strokes his beard.* "Lir and Diana have been gone for some time..."

Mordred: Surprised?

Trajan: Likely talking. Bring them both perhaps?

Madara: very.

Ket: "diana can be... volatile"

Trajan: You distrust her?

Ket: "She is a tremendous warrior, and loyal, but she is not a negotiator."

Mordred: What else would they be?

Trajan: we don't need her to negotiate. Bring her as security.

Madara: monsters.

Ket: "I mean if my cousin levels an insult or threat, she may not restrain herself."

Mordred: Men cannot control monsters.

Trajan: *chuckles* she has spirit.

Madara: maybe.

Mordred: But Trajan is as safe as he can be for now

ket: "perhaps too much."

Trajan: you're sure?

Madara: If you say so...perhaps meeting him at some point would be prudent.

Ket: "I am sure."

Mordred: Maybe, but he's still on campaign in Kelthro so it will be a long time

Trajan: alright.

Madara: of course.

Mordred: *nods*

Ket: "VI can be trusted to not break."

Trajan: indeed.

Madara drinks

Ket: "She should be protection enough."

Trajan: if you say so.
