Elise: ........right.... techpriest, have a servitor put the crystal back in there and reconnect the wires i have cut earlier... and make sure the area is well sealed and warded...

[Affirmative.] *It spits a line of binary chant at the servitor, and the ungainly beast of flesh and metal lumbers over, and places the crystal into its cradle. There is an immidiate change in pitch from the casket, and white frost begins to form around the room*

Lir: Prestige... also, you could make yourself some super shrine world...

Adriel: "A super shrine world?... that is appealing."

*you didn't even need to roll, it's like a psychic maelstrom in there. Absurd levels of power are being contained in that crystal*

Lir: plus, one less world for chaos

Adriel: "Quite..."

*They feel an increasingly rising... intelligence from the box.*

Lir: ....soooo... want to do it?

Elise: ......*sigh*....I should probably stop it but now i a interested... priest, make sure that chamber is blast proof and the wards are intact...

[Affirmative.] *He walks over towards the door, and begins to enter the code which will seal the room, the psychic field of the crystal swells to breaking, and a bolt of pure warp energy lashes out and strikes the priest. He is picked up and hurled against the opposite wall.*

"I shall not be denied."
*The voice emanates from the casket, encrusted now with white frost.*


Adriel: "I'll see how it goes."

Lir: Great! I know just the place! Its in one of those smaller warp-storms, got two perfectly nice planets....that could be made into a hellhole or heaven...

*She hits the button, and the heavy door slams shut, heavy locking bars sliding into place. she then feels something grip her entire body, a pressure all around her, as if the very air conspired against her. she can move, but it feels as though she is moving through wet concrete.*

"You would have done better to flee."

Elise: ...run? on a spaceship? Just how dumb are you? Now why dont you calm down before i have that whole contraption and crystal go boom into a million pieces?

*The casket produces a booming laugh.*

"You will do no such thing."

Adriel: "Back into the warp we go."

Elise: Oh? Why would I not?

Elise: Maybe, but a knife made short work of wires.... explosives probably work better...

*well, X time earlier, time for some prelude....*
*The Farseer entered the chamber of the autarch, seeming quite disturbed*

*The Autarch raises his head and gestured for the Farseer to enter*
"What is it you seek, Farseer?"

*decided that his name is Dalarath...because why not...*
Dalarath: *walks forth* ...Strangely enough, consuel...

Autarch: Are we destined for war?

Dalarath: .....in a sense... albeit, in our current state that could prove fatal... No, I am afraid this is quite a bit more....arguable than that...

Autarch: How so?

Dal: ....It could either bring ultimate respite from she-who-thirsts, and bring powerful allies... or it could spell eternal damnation...

Autarch: *Repressed sigh* What is it that you saw?

Dal: ......A great warrior of fire, accompanied by a warrior of light, bringing havoc to the orks, and the forces of the ruinous powers... and bringing power and protection to those who follow them.... including a world of exodites....

Autarch: A warrior of Fire and one of Light? I do hope that you are not suggesting we become their followers

Seer: I am merely speaking what I have seen... and confirmed with other seers repeatedly...

Autarch:...Did you see anything else? Something pertaining to our future?

Dal: So I did. Soon they shall embark upon a war to claim two demon worlds nearby in a warp storm... Should we choose to do so, we could divert their path at that time to land here instead... Great danger... with great possible gains...or losses...

Autarch: I do not agree with such an action, our craftworld is close to extinction and we must be conservative. But I am not the council, you will have to bring it up with them if you believe it to be the path we must take.

Dal: Quite so... however, i still think that the risk is worth it... if we do it somewhere else... We could draw them in to a nearby world instead, and see about it there

Autarch: If we do go through with it, then yes sending them to a planet would be much safer.

Dal: Indeed.... Should that be done, would you support me in front of the council...?

Autarch: I will not support the idea, but if they deem it worth the risk then I shall support sending these warriors to a planet instead of our home.

Dal: I see... that is more than I could reasonably hope for, i guess....

*roll for council verdict as per agreed...*

Dal: .....close, but they have decided to allow it...

Autarch: Then our course is set.

Dal: So it is... I shall prepare the ritual and await your warriors on the planet...

Autarch: I shall act as your bodyguard. Should this end badly, I am the most likely to succeed in neutralising the threat.

Dal: So it shall be....
*he departs...*
*a few days later, a wraithbone circle construct has been erected on a nearby desolate world... Dalarath and some of his adepts are working around it*

The Autarch waits patiently, having done all he can to safeguard both craftworld and the future of his people. His chosen few warriors are scattered around the gate prepared to defend the Farseer and his adepts.

*and when they step into the rift.... well, adriel arrives on point... probably... On the other hand, Liruxa Balagrine Ely'tira Zytriesh steps out inside the circle.... in all of her imposing magnificence... She stands about 2ish meters tall to the top of her head, and is clad in a full set of heavy armour(minus helmet because badass) resembling a heldrake in design, although more sleek and angular than jagged and random than chaos usually doe sit... She also has a large, two handed axe in her right hand, and the sabatons and gauntlets of her armor are in the shape of clawed hand and feet. She has a pair of draconic horns curving along the top of her head, sweeping back over her flame red hair that literally seems to burn with fire within, as do her irises.*
Lir: .....the hell...
